SIXTH FORM
What our SIXTH FORM offers students Sixth Form Tutors Your child’s tutor will meet them twice weekly, building a professional working relationship, supporting their academic and pastoral needs with objective, non-judgemental and empathetic guidance. A Level Qualifications A Levels are the gold standard qualification for entry into UK universities and are globally recognised. Unlike the IB, A Levels offer students flexibility to do any combination of three to five subjects. Career Support Whether there is a definite path in mind or early ideas based on strengths and interests, our individual career support enables students to select A Level subjects that will give them the best opportunities. Regional University Specialists (global) Our university counsellors work with each student to help them achieve future goals. This involves looking at pathways to desired universities and advising on courses, qualifications, timelines and application support.
Our Sixth Form is unique - not just because of the individual things we offer, but how we offer them. We tailor the educational experience with bespoke support for every student. Academic achievements are layered with sport, co-curricular and community action, alongside excellent pastoral guidance through latter teenage years. This brochure will highlight the core aspects that make our Sixth Form a compelling choice for many, but I also welcome you to contact me directly to talk about your child’s Sixth Form journey with us.

Enrichment & Additional Qualifications Our award-winning co-curricular programme offers an enriching layer to the learning journey. Alongside this, we provide our Sixth Form students with the opportunity to do SATS, IELTS, IPQ, Oxbridge Preparation and other specialist exams and qualifications. University Preparation Course Our unique ‘University Preparation Course’ equips the students for real life beyond School. It covers everything from budgeting and cooking, to the social side of university, adding value to the academic experience, self-defence, drug awareness and relationships. Entry Requirements To gain entry students must show an academic aptitude and the ability to study at least three A Levels to conclusion. Whilst EAL support is available, students must be proficient in English to meet this academic requirement. As a general guide, students must have achieved at least 5 GCSEs grade C/4 or above and have achieved a B/5 grade or above in their selected A Level subject(s).
