Bespoke Tagged Medals We introduced bespoke ‘Tagged’ medals last year for White Star Running when they required a main medal that allowed a different ‘mini medal’ to be hung or tagged from it. With the East Farm Frolic (see right), the event consisted of running solo or in teams of 2, 3 or 4 as many laps of the 4 mile course as possible through woodland, two farmyards, open fields and a big hill within the 12 hour time limit. They had a main medal and then 4 different ‘mini medals’ which hung underneath depending on the team size– for solo runners, pairs, teams of 3 or teams of 4. To get the bling, all the competitors had to do was complete at least one lap each and then feel free to sit in the bar next to the transition area where the runners swapped from one to another and cheer everyone on, re-joining at any time they wished in the 12 hour time limit. Where are the medals manufactured? All our bespoke medals are manufactured in our partner factories in China, for the very best quality at effectively wholesale prices.

If I only have a rough sketch of my medal design, is that alright? No problem. Simply send us your guidelines with any logos (if any) you want incorporating and we will design the medal for you FREE of Charge! (see FREE Design Service on page 43).

How do I work out my medal price? All prices shown are based on circular 3mm thick medals. For example, if your design is 50mm in diameter look in the 50mm column prices etc.

How long will you need to produce my medals? Once you have approved and ‘signed-off’ your medal artwork, if we use sea freight to transport your medals from China to the UK (the most economical), it will take 10 to 12 weeks, although depending on the time of year, this can be expedited.

I understand that you have different background stipple effects that I can incorporate into my design? Yes. We have a variety of background stipple effects that can be incorporated into your design (see below). Simply quote the stipple effect number(s) on your mockup or contact us for a FREE sample.

I have heard that the medals can be produced and delivered in only 5-6 weeks, is that correct? Yes, they can. Once you have ‘signedoff’ the artwork and approved your design it can take only 5-6 weeks to produce and deliver your medals if we use air freight.

How long will it take for me to receive artwork back from you for approval? Normally within 3 to 4 working days.

Is there a surcharge for the medals to be flown in? Yes there is a nominal surcharge. Depending on the size of medals and quantity, it can be less than 25p per medal. We will give you an exact quotation at the time of ordering if you require this express delivery service.

When I have received my medal design back for approval, what if I require some changes? No problem, we will keep amending your design until you are completely happy with it!

Does the 6 or 12 week production lead time include delivery to me? Yes. What if I receive more entries than anticipated, can I order a ‘last minute top-up’ to my medal order? Yes. We can produce a ‘top-up’ to your order within a lead time of 3-4 weeks.

Die Charges How do I know how many dies I will be charged for? You will only be charged a die for each side that has a design. What if exactly the same design is on both sides of the medal? You will only be charged for 1 die.

What if my medals are rectangular? If the longest side is at least 20mm more than the shorter side, for example 60mm x 40mm, look under the 60mm prices, and if they are 50mm x 30mm look under the 50mm prices etc. How can I work out the price if my medals are not circular or rectangular? Simply send us a diagram showing us the shape and size of your required medal (it can be ANY shape including with cut-outs) and we will give you an exact quotation within 24 hours. Can my medals be thicker or thinner than 3mm? Yes. We can produce medals in any thickness from 2mm up to 20mm thick if required (see page 7).

Will there be any charge for these amendments? Absolutely not.

How will this affect my price? As a general guideline please add 10% to our printed prices for every 1mm of additional medal thickness required. However, please contact us with your specific requirements and we will give you an exact quotation within 24 hours.
