If you have received a diagnosis of Dementia, it's important to put together a plan for your future wishes and care.
Our living with dementia Q&As highlight how a solicitor can help make sure plans for the future are put in place and are legally valid.
Q1. How can a solicitor help someone living with dementia plan for their future? A solicitor can help someone living with dementia plan for their future by taking their instructions for Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney. It is a common misconception that someone diagnosed with dementia lacks the capacity to make legal documents. Solicitors can assess the person's capacity when taking instructions for legal documents and involve GPs where necessary. If someone living with dementia does not have capacity then the Court of Protection can appoint a Deputy to manage their affairs and the Deputy can make an application for a Statutory Will on their behalf.
Q2. What are Lasting Powers of Attorney and what do they cover? Lasting Powers of Attorney are documents which appoint people (attorneys) to deal with your finances and welfare in the event that you lose capacity. You are able to provide instructions to your attorneys in the documents or your preferences in regards to specific matters. A Lasting Power of Attorney for Property & Financial Affairs allows your attorneys to make decisions which are in your best interests in relation to your property, bank accounts and investments. A Lasting Power of
Attorney for Health & Welfare allows your attorneys to make decisions in relation to your personal welfare including your care needs.
legal advice in the first instance.
Q3. What is a deputy and how can you become one? A Deputy is a person who is appointed by the Court of Protection to make decisions on behalf of a person who has lost capacity and cannot make or amend their Lasting Powers of Attorney. It is more common for a Deputy to be appointed to manage the person's Property & Financial Affairs as the Court accepts that in most cases healthcare professionals are best placed to make decisions regarding a personal's welfare. The application to become a Deputy is a paper application to the Court and requires specific forms to be completed. Family members/ friends can be appointed as Deputies as can professionals. The Office of the Public Guardian also have a panel of professional Deputies they can appoint in complex or contested cases.
Q4. What is an advance statement and how can it help someone living with dementia? An advance statement, otherwise known as a Living Will, is a legal document which outlines your decisions to refuse a specific type of treatment at some time in the future and is used when you no longer have the capacity to make the decisions for yourself. It is a way in which to let your loved ones know your preferences regarding treatment. Living Wills are not usually as comprehensive as a Lasting Power of Attorney for Health & Welfare and so it is recommended that you seek
Q5. What advice would you give to someone living with dementia when it comes to planning for the future? A diagnosis of dementia does not mean that you are unable to make legal documents, however it is best to make legal documents sooner rather than later so that your wishes can be carried out in the event that you do lose capacity. Just because you are living with dementia it does not necessarily mean you are unable to make a Will. However, time is of the essence and it is important to ensure you seek legal advice as early as possible, while you are still in a position to pass the legal test for testamentary capacity.

Annual charity garden show raises over £3000 for local charities
A bee themed garden, complete with hexagonal shelves and vertical wall planting, won this year’s public vote at the Woodgate Nursery Charity Garden show, in Aylsham.
The ‘Bee Happy’ Garden was designed by Susannah Black Garden Design and built by IFC Landscapes. Woodgate Nursery came second with their beach inspired garden, including crab pots and rusty anchors.
Amongst the highlights of the weekend included some outstanding show gardens, a Saxon and Viking re-enactment group, music by the Aylsham Brass Band and local ironmongers and willow weavers in action.
The two day event raised £3123, which will be shared out between the two local charities of the Aylsham Scouts and the Aylsham Roman Project.

RNLI at the Royal Norfolk Show helping to save lives
RNLI volunteers were at the Royal Norfolk Show. The Community Safety Team and RNLI Education spent two days in the Broads Village, working with the RNLI Volunteers and Broads Broads Ranger Authority to inform visitors on how to stay safe near water and help others who find themselves in trouble in the water.
The practical part was education on using a Throw Line :
Dave is in trouble! He’s fallen in the water, he doesn’t have a life jacket or buoyancy aid on and he’s getting cold, can you help? Grab a throw line and see if you can HELP.
With the help of RNLI volunteers and Broads Rangers they were shown what a throw bag is and how to get help by phoning 999 and asking for the Coastguard then how to use the throw bag and have a go.
Throw Bags are at all Broads Authority moorings on the broads - a lot of people had The volunteers were talking to seen them but children, parents and granddidn’t know parents, informing them how what they to stay safe near water - sadly were for or around 150 people drown how to use each year and 50% of these them. After had no intention to go into their talk water when they left home. So Throw Lines in action and practice the first message they got over throwing they were happy to use them was FLOAT FOR YOUR LIFE - if you fall and help save a life. into water, fight your instinct to swim
until the cold water shock passes, float to live.
If you fall unexpectedly into water: 1. Fight your instinct to thrash around 2. Lean back, extend your arms and legs 3. If you need to, gently move them around to help you float 4. Float until you can control your breathing 5. Only then call for help or swim to safety
People were very interested in the throw line, not only people who own boats but those who live by or near water - these people were given information on how to obtain throw lines. This puts more aids near water to save lives.
Robert Mann, Community Safety Officer at Happisburgh RNLI, said “It was a very worthwhile two days. The number of people of all ages who were aware of our FLOAT campaign was
very pleasing and shows the message is getting out and hopefully the number of drownings will fall. The large number of people trying the throw lines who would be happy to use them to help people in trouble, will also help save lives”.
Jim Page, Education Officer at Cromer RNLI said “Being able to interact with so many people was the best way to get our message over, especially with the hot weather on its way and the likelihood of more people being near the water”.
At the end of the second day the RNLI volunteers took part in the Sunset Parade in the main ring.
Offshore Barge at Bacton – latest stage of sandscaping project Machinery with global positioning will assist with moving the sand into place and engineer it precisely. As it proceeds, the project will move from Bacton – in front of the gas terminal – to Walcott.
Spud leg barge is digging a trench for the new terminal outfall
A large ship, known as a spud leg barge, is currently offshore at Bacton digging the trench necessary to build the new outfall for the Bacton Gas Terminal.
Safety of personnel, local people and visitors will be paramount during the scheme.
The creation of a new outfall is a key part of the Sandscaping project, which will place approximately 1.8 million cubic metres of sand on the beaches in front of the terminal and the villages of Bacton and Walcott.
Cllr Angie Fitch-Tillett, Cabinet Member for Coastal at North Norfolk District Council, said: “While the sand nourishment element of the Sandscaping scheme is the one which we expect will attract the most interest, it is very pleasing to see the progress of the outfall element.
The height and width of the beaches will be significantly increased and access to beaches improved. These improved beaches are designed to provide robust protection to the terminal for approximately 20 years, while extending the life of the village defences.
“This is a large and impressive scheme which will provide protection to people’s homes and critical nationally important infrastructure.”
Three outfalls are being decommissioned and replaced with a single outfall. This needs to happen before the sand nourishment aspect of the project begins in July, lasting approximately six to eight weeks depending on the weather. An outfall is a drainage pipeline which removes rain and treated water from the gas terminal.
!"#$!%%%!"&
The sand placement part of the project will be the most visually striking element of the scheme.

North Norfolk Photographic Society
a wonderfully coloured flower. Third was Hanne Seibers again – ‘Wetlands after the Flood’.
Ron Tear had serious work to do in judging more than 40 in the Advanced class.
1st place Novice Hanne Sibers ‘Evening Descends’
There was an ‘end of term’ atmosphere at the last meeting of North Norfolk Photographic Society’s year in early June.
In May, they held their annual competition for digital images – this time the best of the members’ prints were judged.
Judge for the occasion was Ron Tear from Loughton, Essex. Ron has the letters ARPS, MPAGB, BPE3*, PSA3* after his name - he is very eminent and well qualified.
First of all Ron judged the Novices’ prints.
Winner was Hanne Seibers with ‘Evening Descends’. This beautiful photograph of a sunset across a marshy landscape was one of three given 10 out of 10. Second was ‘Busy Bee’ from Cheryl Howell – a bee covered in pollen working away in
Ron found that nine of them were good enough to get 10 out of 10 marks – and then had a difficult task in selecting the top three. After much deliberation, the top prize went to Diana Knight whose print ‘A Helping Hand’ showed a small girl hand in hand with a soldier and being led, one hopes, to a place of safety. Second ‘Seapool’ from Nick Akers – an infinity pool and the sea, with a paved edging just barely separating the two: you would not notice the join were it not for the metal rail from the pool steps! Third, ‘Gray Plover’ which was a clever picture of the bird and its reflection, a few ripples in the water and hardly anything else.
However, the Club’s Annual Exhibition will be taking place during Holt Festival week and hopefully will attract a lot of visitors.
For further details please contact the club Secretary, Judith Wells at secretary.nnps@gmail.com or see the club website at http://www.nnphotosoc.org/

The RHS says that school gardens are a huge part of their push to encourage young people to enjoy the benefits of gardening. There were eight school gardens at the Royal Norfolk Show, each measuring three metres by three metres. The garden designers were encouraged to consider wellbeing, tourism and volunteering – with a ‘rustic twist.’

Wellie well done!
Norfolk primary school’s wellie-wall wins RHS Best School Garden and Gold Medal at the Royal Norfolk Show
Aldborough Primary School in North Norfolk won Best School Garden 2019 and an RHS Gold Medal for its garden at the Royal Norfolk Show. Up against stiff competition from much larger schools, both public and state, Aldborough’s wellie-inspired creation wowed the judges, who were all from the Royal Horticultural Society.
One thing that the impressed the judges was that the garden was clearly created by a team effort from the whole school. As a Year 4 pupil said “We wanted to show that we’re not just individuals – we are all one person, creating the garden for our school.”
The judges particularly loved the Aldborough garden’s key feature, a wellie-wall comprising recycled wellington boots which the children had planted up with a huge array of colourful flowers. Other features included a willow den, vegetable planter, friendship bench, wooden wind chimes and willow dragonflies – all made by the pupils, who had great fun showing the judges around their school garden.
The Countess of Wessex, who also came to look at the garden, praised the welly boot planters and commented on how bright and colourful they looked. “The children came up with the ideas themselves,” says Head Teacher Alison Read. “Then they all collaborated together, taking on a variety of roles, to turn their vision into reality. I’m so proud of their achievement, and very grateful to the Royal Norfolk Show for the opportunity to showcase our children’s creativity. The RHS judges shared very positive comments with the children, as they were shown around our school garden
rather enthusiastically!
“I would strongly encourage schools to enter next year – it was hard work but also terrific fun and an incredibly valuable learning experience.”
If you would like to contact Aldborough Primary School call the office (during school hours) on 01263 761264 or email: office@aldborough.norfolk.sch.uk. The school’s website is at www.aldborough.norfolk.sch.uk

WHY CHOOSE WHY CHOOSE SILVER & WARD WARD SILVER SOLICITORS SOLICITORS in in 2019? 20 19 ?
“It’s a recurrent misconception that a larger firm is better.”
I am Clare Mayell and I own Silver and Ward Solicitors in Sheringham. I am an extremely competent and experienced solicitor. I appreciate that any time of the year can be a difficult time fo or many people to resolve legal issues of worry and concern, for example, making a will or Lasting Power of Attorney. As I have worked for 2 larger local firms I know what clients want and expect. My charges are significantly less than other solicitors in North Norfo olk or Norwich and I provide 22 years of expertise and exceptional service. I pride myself in being one of the only solicitors who offffers a FREE FIRST APPOINTMENT, so clients can come in and obtain some initial advice and discuss costs and then make an informed decision. At a larger firm you just pay more. When a client rings or walks through the door they invariably get to speak to me as this personal and direct approach is important to my clients and I. I ensure complete confidentiality is an absolute priority. I advise new clients to “shop around” as I know that my charges are significantly less than other solicitors but I can offer the same expertise, if not better. I have and can act for clients across Norrffolk and the Country as we now have the use of Skype, emails etc. so it enables me to act for clients further afield. The reason that clients, near and far, instruct Silver and Ward is because of my expertise, exceptional service and competitive costs.
“I would say to any potential client with a legal issue or worry in 2019 to come and meet me face to face for a FREE FIRST APPOINTMENT, as you have nothing to lose but all to gain.
Home visits can be arranged or appointments outside of office hours including Saturdays. 01263 0 1263 8 823465 23465 or email clare@silverandward.co.uk

It’s all going on in Mundesley!
It all goes wrong for Mundesley Players
In their hilarious comedy show ‘Streuth & Deckchairs’ things get totally out of control for the Mundesley Players.
This summer Mundesley on Sea Parish Council are going all out with numerous events for visitors and locals alike. The Council’s events team are dedicated to attracting visitors to the village by providing great events and entertainment. This year they are holding six events and would like to invite you to come and join in the quintessential charm that Mundesley has to offer.
Over the top acting, scenery toppling, lights fusing. At the Coronation Hall Mundesley on the 1 to 3 August, simply expect the unexpected.
Summertime on the Prom will kick things off with four Sundays of free musical entertainment in the afternoon from 2pm - 4pm from 28 July through to 25 August. Come along and enjoy an ice cream on the prom and listen to some fabulous music with a great view.
Chairperson Cheryl Collings said that the actors were having great fun making things go so far wrong that it becomes a total farce.
“I know that amateur theatre has this expectation of wobbly scenery and bad acting, but in this case, the problems are intended and are being pushed to the limit for laughs.” In a play called “Streuth!” everything that can go wrong will go wrong.
Norfolk Day special will be on 27 July held in Gold Park and will be another family fun filled afternoon ,with music, stand up , dancing and singing. Also a free children’s craft tent and fancy dress competition. Amongst the entertainment will be mini donkeys, a good old fashioned Punch and Judy Show and Pat Nearny . A wonderful day in the park with lots to do for all ages.
As part of the whole evening there are also three short individual ‘Deckchair’ plays. Set on a seafront in a fictional seaside town remarkably like Mundesley, a series of odd characters discuss their lives and what naughty things they have been up to. Sometimes with surprising and funny results.
As if that wasn’t enough there will be an outdoor cinema on 25 August at 7pm showing the film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. Food and refreshments will be on sale, or you could bring a picnic and enjoy a relaxing warm evening on Gold Park, and feel free to dress up!
More information and tickets for the Mundesley Players short running show of ‘Streuth & Deckchairs’ are available from Jupe in Station Road Mundesley from 8 July and cost just £8. Running for the first three days in August, this is expected to be a popular show.

be focusing on French classics to feature the glorious history of these, sometimes eccentric but always innovative, vehicles.
This Year we Celebrate les Automobiles Français
Now in its 6th year, Reepham Classic Car and Bike Festival has become one of Norfolk’s most successful and attractively located shows, with over a hundred Classic cars and motorbikes displayed in the beautiful Georgian Market Square.

French manufacturers have a tradition of developing distinctive designs for mass manufacture - the Citroen 2CV and DS, Renault 16 and 5, Peugeot 404, and Simca 1000 are well loved examples. There were more exotic and rare cars too, such as models from Bugatti, Delahaye and the Facel Vega. While the French motorcycle industry never achieved the success of rivals from Germany, Britain, and Italy, it developed the iconic Velosolex, ‘the one with the engine mounted on top of the front wheel’.
Classic Car Rally at Gresham
To register your car, bike or club for the event, contact Hugh or Peter at reephamclassic2019@outlook.com. Once accepted, a numbered pass will be sent as confirmation that a place has been reserved for your vehicle. Legendary guitarist Gordon Giltrap to perform at Sharrington
on Saturday 24 August.
Sharrington Village Hall is thrilled to announce a concert by the internationally acclaimed acoustic guitarist Gordon Giltrap
Gordon has been a large part of the music scene since the late 1960s. Many guitar legends including Richie Blackmore (Deep Purple) have cited him as an influence. Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) and Pete Townshend of The Who are also admirers of Gordon’s work. In fact Pete is such a fan that he recently
requested Gordon to join him for a recording session for one of the songs on the next album by The Who which is due for release later this year. You can read Pete's report of that session at https://www.thewho.com/pete-recording-the-who-album/
Whilst influencing some heavy rock stars, Gordon's own compositions are frequently quietly reflective and his style is unique. He was most famous in the 1970s when he toured extensively with 'The Gordon Giltrap Band' and released seminal albums such as 'Visionary' and 'Perilous Journey' from which his greatest hit 'Heartsong' was taken. Familiar to millions, it was chosen as the theme tune to the popular BBC 'Holiday' programme with Cliff Mitchelmore. Gordon's contributions to both music

On 28 May, in the tranquil setting of Templewood, Northrepps, family, representatives of RAFA and local historians gathered to remember Sergeant Stanley Elliot, Wireless Operator and Air Gunner, one of the crew of Hampden bomber X 3023 44 squadron RAF Waddington who lost their lives when it crashed at Templewood in the early hours of the morning of 20 November 1940. Owner of Templewood, Eddie Anderson welcomed all present and oversaw the unveiling of the memorial tree stump plaque.
Local researcher James Mindham gave a brief overview into the crash and presented the family with small mementos of the downed aircraft and Jack Broughton of RAFA gave an epitaph and oration.
Sgt Elliot's family expressed their thanks to those who made this ceremony possible.

pleased to be able to offer some activities for children throughout the summer. Thanks to winning Tesco’s Bags of Help appeal, we are able to offer these activities free of charge! The first event will be a treasure hunt around town which can be collected from the centre anytime between Wednesday 31 July and Friday 30 August. Find all the clues and you could win a small prize!
The second activity will run only on Friday 9 and Friday 16 August. Drop in anytime on these two dates between 10.30am and 3pm to take part in one of two problem solving games. See if you can solve all the clues to find the name of the master thief who is trying to steal all of Aylsham’s treasures, or see if you can collect everything you need to attend Queen Victoria’s Jubilee party. Lots of
fun for everyone!
Finally, there is the opportunity for young writers to enter a short story competition. We are hoping to publish a book containing all the winning stories which will be available to purchase from the centre. We have selected 10 photographs from the archives as the starting point for the stories. They don’t have to be historically correct, just great stories! It is free to enter and we are happy to have multiple entries! All the photographs, details and rules can be found on our website www.aylshamheritage.com
Some children from Bure Valley school have already been writing stories about Queen Victoria’s Jubilee party which have been published on our children’s website www.aylshamhistoryforchildren.weebly.com Well worth a visit!

SUCCESS FOR CROMER PEREGRINES! The pair of peregrine falcons seen around Cromer in earlier months successfully mated and laid three eggs on a nest platform hastily installed at the top of the tower. Thanks to a partnership formed by the North East Norfolk Bird Club (NENBC) with Cromer Parochial Church Council, Cromer Museum and Hawk & Owl Trust.
A CCTV 50" monitor was installed in the church lounge/cafe, where church members and visitors are welcome. This is not available during services
(9.30am-10.45am Weds. and 8.30am12.15 Sun).
Peregrines are a protected species and disturbing their nest site is an offence, therefore the tower is closed to visitors until further notice.
The adult birds proved to be excellent parents and generated lots of interest with locals and visitors.
The first chick hatched on 25 May with the other two following on 27 May. Cromer peregrines are possibly the latest to hatch in the UK and the
chicks were ringed last month to enable future sightings of the birds to be recorded when they fledge and leave the church.
Thanks to the wonderful photography provided by Chris Skipper there are limited edition mugs on sale at ‘Upstairs Downstairs’ in Cromer to help raise funds for the church and further merchandising to go on sale at the Tourist Information office very soon. For further information on the project or any birding queries please contact NENBC on info@nenbc.co.uk PHOTOS: CHRIS SKIPPER

On Wednesday 3rd July, Sir David, an atlantic grey seal, was released back into the North Sea having spent exactly 3 months at East Winch Wildlife Centre. He had been at the RSPCA facility undergoing treatment for an embedded frisbee cutting deep into his neck.
Our charity has been actively involved in the rescue of seals around the Norfolk coast for many years. In August 2013, we even captured an entangled grey seal on Scroby sand bank off Great Yarmouth. That mission was with help

Thanks from all 3266 of us to all 70,000 of you! As you read this, be proud that during 2018 -2019, we the citizens across the 200 square miles of North Norfolk, collectively provided emergency food for well over 3000 of our fellow citizens in North Norfolk. One third of those North Norfolk citizens you fed were 1295 children and because of you those children across our region continued to get the nourishment they need during a time of crisis for their families.
At this point some readers will be shaking their heads and talking about this unacceptable situation, which is that in 2019 we are seeing a rise of the need for Foodbanks. No-one will disagree with that sentiment, however for many, often complex reasons, this is the situation we find ourselves in right here, right now. And together we’re tackling that challenge head on.
Most of us take the food we eat every day for granted. Most of us don’t believe that we will ever be in a position where we can’t buy food for our families. But crises happen, often without warning, and ordinary people
just like us – people who may be your friends, your neighbours, members of your own family, old school friends, other parents - find themselves in this unthinkable situation.
Financial crises come in many shapes and sizes, including, redundancy, bereavement, relationship breakdown, benefit delays, illness, low income during out-of-season periods, unplanned but essential expenditure and debts which can grow because of any of these things, to name just a few. These situations are often not anyone’s ‘fault’ and so there is little to be gained by trying to apportion blame. Instead, lets continue doing what we’ve done so far and support these people when they most need us to.
Cromer and District Foodbank can only continue this work because the citizens of North Norfolk give generously of their own food, their time and their money to support our work. And it’s a little-known fact that during the last 12 months you have donated an amazing 36,500 kg of food to our warehouse in Cromer so that
through us you can continue to support other North Norfolk citizens across our district during these most difficult times.
We at Cromer and District Foodbank will continue to play our part in facilitating the distribution of your donations of emergency food supplies through our 7 centres located in Aylsham (2), Cromer, Holt, North Walsham, Stalham and Sheringham with the help of our fabulous 120strong volunteer group. And we will continue to work in partnership with the Agencies who refer to us those families who are in need of our short-term help whilst they are ‘getting back on their feet’.
This is a real team effort. Together we make this essential support possible for our fellow citizens when they need it and so a heartfelt thank you for your continuing generosity.

Where there’s a Will there’s a War? Miranda Marshall, Director, Hayes + Storr
With the number of Wills being contested in the High Court up 25% on recent years, it is more important than ever to secure your last wishes to avoid claims upsetting your legacy plans. The surge in claims is put down to increasingly complex family relationships. The landmark 2017 judgement in Ilott v The Blue Cross overturned accepted legal thinking. In that case Melita Jackson left most of the £486,000 estate to animal charities, but her estranged daughter Heather Ilott made a successful claim against the estate, arguing that her mother had not made reasonable provision for her.
The Supreme Court criticised the decision-making process of the lower Court of Appeal in the Ilott case and made some useful points. The Court of Appeal had given little weight to the testator’s clear wishes; which was wrong. While the wishes can be overridden, they are part of the circumstances of the case and must be taken into account. The Court of Appeal thought that charities have no ‘needs’ and therefore, unlike a person, they are not prejudiced if their benefit is reduced. For all Inheritance Act claimants, apart from spouse, ‘need’
is a necessary but not sufficient condition for an order. Awards are limited to maintenance (rather than a lump sum) and so, had an award by way of housing, been appropriate, the right order would be likely to have been a life interest, rather than an outright sum.
Cases since Ilott, such as Thompson v Ragget [2018], show that these principles are not being consistently applied by the Courts. As ever, the decisions are specific to the facts but Orders for capital sums by nonspouses are still being made, despite all the guidance of the Supreme Court. Reasons given include such an Order allowing all parties to move on from the estate litigation with all links being severed and the estate being substantial so there was ‘enough to go round everyone’. The closeness of the relationship between the deceased and the beneficiary of the Will has been held to make a difference.
Modern legal approaches include setting up a trust which would distribute funds in line with your wishes but could adapt to any change in circumstances instead of sticking rigidly to the Will. Communicating intentions to family members to avoid
unpleasant surprises, appointing a committed and competent executor all help prevent misunderstandings when it is too late.
More than ever making a Will is something that must be done with advice and careful thought. It is clear that documenting your reasons for making any testamentary dispositions likely to be unpopular needs professional input and careful documentation.

Kharn’s little brownie
Afternoon tea on the lawns are a big part of the Grove and hundreds of people enjoy our lovely food and top-quality gardens (under the fabulous Estate team headed by Nigel) every year. Our chefs love coming up with creative ideas for afternoon teas and the appropriately-named Kharn Brown came up with a cracking recipe for little brownies, now firmly ensconced on Plate Two and very much appreciated by all who put them in their mouth.
Please do come and see us to try Kharn’s little brownie (and the rest of the afternoon tea) between 2 and 4.30pm every day (24-hour booking essential 01263 512412).

A three-dimensional quick boost for the summer. Multi-award winning Coltishall Cosmetic Clinic has some excellent options on offer
Did you know that we offer some very effective, quick and no down time treatments for instant threedimensional boost. We have a full range of services available from very gentle skin rejuvenation options, full range of laser, skin and vein care services to minimally invasive surgical procedures. This time of the year however, you just can’t beat instant results that you can get from a three-dimensional boost. These are especially great as there is no significant recovery time or a waiting period before you begin to see the results.
So if you require relatively quick results without significant recovery period, here are your options –
Wrinkle relaxing injections. These can produce some very natural looking results. We see a lot of the badly done procedures out there with obvious
giveaway signs. With our technique, however, these injections are pain-free and last a decent length of time too. We are an advanced user of these and can produce subtle yet effective results.
Dermal fillers. We have moved beyond simple line and wrinkle softening which of course is very routinely done. Advanced Dermal fillers are used to give a three-dimensional boost to the face. We now know the physiological basis of how the face ages and small amount of filler placement in strategic location such as temples, under eyes, cheeks and angle of the jaw can produce some very nice, natural looking enhancements. These are advanced techniques and you need a very experienced practitioner to carry out these procedures. We have techniques and technology available to carry out these procedures in a very safe manner.
Skin boosters. We have seen some outstanding results with skin boosters. These hydrate the skin and help plump it up. You also see improvement in skin texture and tone. We recommend three sessions for best results.
Silhouette soft thread lift. Suspension threads with resorbable cones are used to create a sort of puppet-lift for the

face and neck. This procedure is carried out under local anaesthesia and is suitable for women and men looking for a subtle facelift without going under the knife. This is a very popular quick lift procedure.
Gentle pick me ups for the skin. We focus on safe practice and only use safe, approved products and treatments. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on products such as moisturisers, sun protection and vitamin A, C or E-based skin creams. If you’re not sure what is best for you come and see our trained therapists who can devise a skincare program for you.
Lunchtime gentle treatments. We offer simple skin renewal treatments, which really are pleasant and enjoyable procedures such as light emitting diodes, microdermabrasion and chemical peels. We are offering 3 for 2 on this very popular treatment for skin brightening, pigmentation or acne. A saving of £ 65
Coltishall Cosmetic Clinic is your one stop shop for all your skin care needs. Voted best skincare clinic in Norfolk, Best Cosmetic surgery Clinic and UK enterprise top 50 winner, we have something for everyone. From facials to surgical facelifts. Happisburgh Lifeboat Station
Happisburgh Lifeboat Volunteers were called into action tonight earlier this month to go to the aid of a 31ft cruiser that had broken down off the coast at Happisburgh Lighthouse.
Deputy Launching Atuthoriy Paul Broomfield was alerted by the UK Coastguard and in turn alerted the crew for a launch of the Station’s Atlantic Howard Bell with Jake Munday on the helm and Martin Gibbs, Sean Thurston and Chris Rigsby as crew.
Howard Bell was soon alongside the cruiser which had lost power with four persons on board. Martin Gibbs and Sean Thurston were put on board the cruiser to try to get the cruiser underway. They managed to get the engines started again but after 5 mins they stopped; the crew were unable to get them restarted. They then rigged for towing the cruiser to Great Yarmouth.
Once underway the Lifeboat was only making a speed of 6 knots which would have taken them till after 11pm to arrive at Great Yarmouth. The crew informed UK Coastguards and

Caister Lifeboat was launched to come up the coast to meet them and then take over the tow to Great Yarmouth. The transfer of tow took place off Horsey at 9:30pm.
Once the tow was safely handed over to Caister Lifeboat the Howard Bell returned to Station and was rehoused and made ready for service.
This was the first callout for Chris Rigsby. Jake Munday said “this was a good job and the crew all worked well together and it is always good to work with other Lifeboats”

Beat Heartbreak with a Wonderful Walk on Norfolk Day Walk Cromer are celebrating Norfolk Day on 27 July with a beautiful circular walk from Cromer via Felbrigg Hall, one of Norfolk's impressive stately homes. The full route is 6 miles, but we have also plotted a series of shorter routes for those who prefer a more leisurely walk of about three miles.
Georgian interior, standing in approximately 7sqkm of parkland from which there is access to a number of other way-marked walks and the National Cycle network.
This is one of Walk Cromer's bi-monthly weekend walk events which raise funds for The British Heart Foundation, a charity which supports research into heart disease, strokes and vascular dementia.
A specially designed map and information sheet has been produced and will be available to pick up for free at both Merchants Place and Cromer Information Centre on Saturday 27 July. Choose your own time and pace for this self-led walk which starts from the Information Centre on Louden Road and begins with a steady climb out of the town along Weavers Way where you can stand and look back at the wonderful scenery before crossing a bridge over the railway line. Felbrigg Hall is noted for its Jacobean architecture and fine
Walks for the Glaven
The full walk goes through the park, up "the lion’s mouth" and loops round back to Cromer via the wooded hills of East Runton. Why not wear black, white and yellow, to echo the colours of the Norfolk flag, and send us your photos. There will be a £10 prize for the best picture – send to enquiries@ walkcromer.co.uk
The Glaven Charity invites you to enjoy a choice of fundraising walks through the beautiful Glaven Valley on Saturday 21 September.
Setting off from the Art Café at Glandford - there is a walk for everyone. A 10k walk follows historic footpaths and bridal paths through the Bayfield Estate, over the Wiveton Downs to the coastal path and back. A gentler but equally glorious 5k circular walk through the Bayfield Estate crosses open farmland, woodland and wetland. Landowner Robin Combe will be on hand to talk about the local bird, insect and plant life. Families with toddlers can enjoy a gentle stroll (1K ) down to Glandford Ford, stop off at The Glandford Shell Museum and climb the hill up to Glandford Church, for some child friendly, creative church brass rubbing.
The Glaven Centre in Blakeney provides a local luncheon club, care and companionship for the elderly, and will use the monies raised through the walks to maintain its premises. Glaven founder, the late Dr Tony Allibone, enjoyed walking these paths with their beautiful view

Fantastic News for the Young People of North Norfolk Holt Youth Project is pleased to confirm officially an award for the next three years from #NationalLottery. Chair of Trustees Kevin Abbs said “This is so vital in our objective for 2019, where we have taken back the project to the people of North Norfolk from the previous partnership with Ormiston Families.
www.timandvonniedaykin.co.uk Facebook Tim and Vonnie Daykin
Our Lottery award is £333,593 over three years to deliver The Positive Choices Programme. We will deliver a programme to children and young people across north Norfolk, as well as a new programme supporting 1830, young adults with emotional issues.
This award was vital in this move back to our roots, enabling staffing and facilities to be brought back to a level such that we can drive the project forward and meet the demands of North Norfolk.
Part of the award was that the project still delivered over £58K per annum independently, so we are maintaining an active fundraising plan”.
If you would like to know more about the project or indeed would like to consider volunteering please contact Julie on 01263 710918.
