THE MYSTERY OF THE ‘TINY BEACH HUTS’ You may see, out of the corner of your eye, as you wander past the Sheringham shops some tiny ‘beach huts’ knitted in brightly coloured wool, all hand-made and unique, with an emblem of an old-fashioned key on the front. No? Well, you soon will!

These are being delivered by Sheringham Museum volunteers with leaflets about their exciting new summer exhibition. Pop into your favourite shop to pick up a leaflet. Olive Edis, a Sheringham resident for fifty years, was a remarkable person – pioneer female WW1 photographer, business- woman, portrait photographer, creative artist and adventurer. The exhibition runs from 6 June until 23 September (10am to 4pm, Sundays 12 noon to 4pm) and is really worth seeing. Please check Sheringham Museum website, Facebook The Links Hotel, West Runton and Twitter. You would be mad to miss it!

Dear Margaret,

Passing of Elizabeth Alwyn Coope(Liz/Lizzie)18 May 2018 I would like to put in writing my sincere thanks for the way my late wife`s funeral was handled on Thursday 7 June. Thanks go to the Salvation Army, in particular Major Janice who led the service and Joan Cooke who played piano for the hymns. I also have to thank Morrison`s for putting on a splendid wake afternoon tea -cream cakes too. Thanks go to all friends and relatives who attended, some of whom travelled hundreds of miles to pay their respects. I would also like it known that Helen and Hayleigh from Blyth`s funeral directors made the day very special - attention to detail was second-to-none.

Last, but certainly not least, is the biggest thanks to the wonderful angels (nurses) at Kelling hospital (especially Sonia and Wendy) who put so much love and care into looking after my very sick wife whose 14 year battle with cancer finally was ended on 18 May. All the nursing staff at Kelling are unbelievably kind, hard-working and cheerful, despite some of the dreadful jobs they do especially with terminally-ill patients like my Lizzie. Nothing was too much bother so I believe they should all be given a new title of SRA`s - State Registered Angels. They were doing God`s work on Earth and made Lizzie`s transition to Glory as pain-free as possible. She was in agony for days and days before she was lifted by God`s angels. I hope her spirit is now at rest, she deserves it. She was a fighter and wouldn`t let cancer get her down until the end. She wanted to live her 3 score and 10 years but was cheated on that score.

All who remember her will acknowledge her fighting spirit and glass half-full attitude.

Thank you for reading this tribute. Martyn Coope, Barford Road, Sheringham

Weybourne WI Members visit the Sainsbury Centre

The Sainsbury Centre on the UEA Campus was the choice for this year’s annual outing - our party of around 30 members arrived by coach in time for a quick coffee before our pre-booked guided tour.

The building itself, now in its 40th year, is an impressive example of modern architecture, the first public building to be designed by now world renowned Norman Foster. Foster was a relatively unknown young architect when he won the commission to design the building to house the hugely diverse collection about to be donated by Sir Robert and Lady Sainsbury with the specific requirement for it to be displayed under one roof.

We were guided around the exhibition by two friendly and knowledgeable volunteer guides who were enthusiastic and engaging in their love of the artworks. They each focused on a few specific pieces giving us in-depth insight into both creation and artist. After a pleasant interval to further explore; we made our way to the bright and airy glass fronted restaurant and designated dining tables to enjoy our lunch at leisure.

Afterwards some members remained to explore the Sculpture Trail in the wooded grounds whilst others were escorted to the WeatherQuest offices where Chris Bell awaited us. Chris patiently explained the logistics of his company’s meteorological forecasts, interspersed with fielding telephone calls and generally manning the office due to the shortage of staff for various reasons on that particular day. We admired his professionalism

Our President, Kath Griffiths, gave us the very shortest of meetings; which means we will have a little extra correspondence and business for discussion at July’s meeting when Amanda Searles will be with us to explain and demonstrate the art of Paverpol.

At Silver and Ward we pride ourselves in giving our clients peace of mind with our expert legal advice explained in plain English. We work extremely hard during our lives to provide for family and loved ones. However, the majority of us fail to ensure that continues if we become unwell, or when we pass away. So, how can you guarantee that? (1) LPAs (Lasting Power of Attorney) – are a safety net for you and your loved ones if you were to be involved in an accident, or have a diagnosis leading to diminished mental capacity. It is incredibly important to have them in place no matter how old you are. As surprising as it sounds, your spouse, or partner, does not have any legal right to make health decisions on your behalf, or deal with your money and property if you are unable to.

(2 ) Wills – can help you to secure a future for those you leave behind. If you do not leave a Will the Law decides who will inherit your estate. This may not be what you want and it is unlikely to provide adequately for your family. A Will prepared by Silver and Ward can provide reassurance and peace of mind for you and your family and help reduce any risks and pitfalls that may arise in the future. We will write it in plain English to avoid any misunderstandings. We offffer fixed fees for Wills and LPAs so you know immediately how much it is going to cost and a FREE INITIAL APPOINTMENT. We can meet with you in your home, Nursing Home, or Hospital at no extra cost.

In the words of Benjamin Franklin “Never leave till tomorrow that which you can do today”.

Cromer Soapbox Derby Major Sponsors to support this year’s event Global electronics company GTK along with Westcotec Traffic Safety Systems and technology company Seneye are sponsoring these year’s Cromer Soapbox Derby on Sunday 5 August and are planning to bring their own soapboxes to compete alongside the Norfolk entries. The event, now it its fourth year, is fast becoming an important part of the Cromer Carnival’s summer of fun attracting entrants from far and wide.

Tony Shipp Cromer Carnival Chairman said “We are delighted to have received the support of such major companies and we look forward to welcoming them to Cromer and the Soapbox Derby, I am very excited about this year’s event and am looking forward to seeing the innovative and creative designs of the soapboxes”. He continued, “The hard work and effort that goes into building the soapboxes is just incredible and of course there is always the risk that they will not survive our now infamous jump”.

The three sponsors, all from the electronic industry, are spearheaded by GTK, an international company based in Basingstoke, Hampshire with offices in Germany and Taiwan and a manufacturing facility in Romania providing electronic solutions including cable assemblies, connectors, displays and manufacturing solutions. Julie Arrowsmith Sales Director at GTK said “We are all pleased to be sponsoring the Cromer Soapbox Derby I have heard a lot about the course jump and I’m looking forward to seeing the racing action”. She continued, “We wish this year’s event every success and all hope that the will continue to grow year on year”. Westcotec Traffic Safety Systems based in Dereham, Norfolk is a leading technology company based in the East of England, specialising in the manufacture of vehicle

road.

Seneye based in Norwich specialise in water quality monitoring systems for fish tanks and ponds. The Seneye dramatically improves the frequency, accuracy, sensitivity, and robustness of water allowing fish keepers to truly understand what happens inside their aquarium or pond by monitoring the harmful parameters, which aren’t detectable to the human eye.

Entry forms are available from The Cottage, Louden Road, Cromer or online at www.cromercarnival.co.uk Entries close on 28 July but late entries could be accepted on the day if they arrive for the scrutineering at 11.30am.

Racing starts at 1pm with the 3 classes racing to become the fastest soapbox of the day. Classes are 10 – 15 years, 16 -18 years and Adult.

The Sporting Car Club of Norfolk will be providing the timing and scrutineering for the event and are planning to bring along a number of cars for a static display.

It’s a real fun day out and there will no doubt be a few thrills and spills but that is what the event is all about trying to beat the course and your fellow competitors while entertaining the crowds to become the fastest soapbox of the day.

Holt and District Probus Club

Anyone who has seen that graceful giant amphibian, the Catalina flying boat, will hold the image in their mind. Whether operating from land or water it is an impressive sight.

One is kept and maintained at the Imperial War Museum’s airfield at Duxford and David Cramer, a member of Holt and District Probus Club, told members about it at their June meeting.

The Catalina belongs to a company called ‘Plane Sailing’ and they keep it at Duxford in return for showing it at their Air Shows. They also display it at other air shows for which a fee is charged towards the considerable cost of upkeep. Most of the maintenance is done during the winter.

David told of the history of the Catalina. At first it was a flying boat only, but wheels were added later which greatly enhanced its usability. Built by the US company Consolidated, and originally known as the PBY, it was designed in the 1920’s and was known for its long range. It served the RAF and USAF in WW II in many roles including submarine attack, reconnaissance, air-sea rescue and after the war for aerial fire-fighting among other uses.

Meetings of Holt and District Probus Club are normally held at lunchtime on the first Thursday of each month at the Feathers in Holt. Enquiries about membership (or about a trial visit - visitors are most welcome) should be made to Secretary Alan Holmes on 01263 710782.

ANGEL PACK USED AT CLASSIC CAR SHOW

Unfortunately a gentleman fell on the day of the Carnival Classic Car Show near the clock tower on the High Street, but fortunately he was attended to by Ben on the Carnival First Aid Bike.

Ben used an Angel Pack from Sainsburys to help comfort the gentleman. The ambulance took several hours to attend.

However, due to this incident, SiS - who run the Angel Pack Initiative, which is supported by Sheringham Carnival - received a telephone call from the owners of Rallentando, who wanted to support the initiative and purchase an Angel Pack for their Coffee Shop!

Latest exhibition held by North Norfolk District Council

Collection by local artist includes experimental works

North Norfolk District Council is proud to be hosting an exhibition by local artist Susanne Mason, with her pictures on display at its offices in Cromer.

Susanne has lived near the North Norfolk coast since 2001, where she spends her time teaching, painting, designing patterns and beekeeping.

She said “I love experimenting in art. My

techniques embrace the ancient technique of encaustics (painting with wax), acrylics and mixed media, and I have recently started to train as a surface-pattern designer, creating patterns for fabrics.”

Susanne’s work has been exhibited in the UK and Germany, and her greeting cards can be found at Green Pebble Greeting Cards.

The exhibition runs until July 13 at the NNDC offices in Holt Road, Cromer.

The 1st Floor Gallery is open to the public

SONGS OF LOVE AND NONSENSE

Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society returns to The Auden Theatre on Saturday 14 July at 7.30pm to celebrate their 85th Anniversary with an exuberant programme of music celebrating both Love and Nonsense.

They are delighted that for this special concert they will be accompanied on the magnificent Steinway ‘A’ grand piano by two highly talented keyboard players – rehearsal accompanist Philip Adams together with the world renowned composer/pianist Michael Finnissy.

The concert will feature the love songs of Johannes Brahms Geistliches Lied Op.30 and Liebeslieder Op.52 and Eric Whitacre’s Five Hebrew Love Songs. The nonsense element is provided by 7 Nonsense Songs by Richard Rodney Bennett.

Musical Director, David Ballard, says “this will be a wonderful concert for a summer evening with music ranging from the sublime love songs of Brahms and Eric Whitacre to the hilariously ridiculous nonsense songs of R R Bennett. This may be classical music but it will be far from stuffy”. And, for those who like the truly romantic touch, the words of

Exactly 90 years later, thousands of Legion members will recreate The 1928 Great Pilgrimage to visit the same battlefields and then, on 8 August 2018, carry their standards along the same route to the Menin Gate, to commemorate the last 100 days of WW1 and represent an entire generation that served while defending their country. Two representatives from every Legion branch and county or their local community are invited to attend GP90 on a special tour and carry their standards in the parade on 8 August. Sheringham RBL members, Eddie Mayell (New Standard Bearer) and Clare Mayell (Wreath Layer) will be representing Sheringham Branch RBL and attending with our own town’s Standard and Wreath.

We would like to offer our community organisations, like the schools, youth clubs, Scouts and Guides for example, the opportunity along with the general public to be involved with this prestigious event.

Welcome to Summer

Welcome to Summer! At long last it’s here. We’ve waited for ages for it to appear. Winter cold went on forever, it seems, And Spring rain caused flooding in rivers and streams. Now Summer breezes carry birds’ song, All thoughts of snow and harsh winds have gone. We’ve yearned for the blooming of beautiful flowers, With glorious sunshine and warm Summer showers. We’ve dreamt about this all Winter through, And now Summer’s here, there’s so much to do With picnics and ‘barbies’ on soft, sultry nights, Playing on beaches with high flying kites. Tennis and cricket and long cycle rides, Swimming and walking and surfing high tides. So, welcome to Summer - stay with us a while, We really enjoy this ‘al fresco’ lifestyle. It’s easy and simple and lacking in fuss. Life in the Summer is perfect for us! Frances Wraight

Two new summer exhibitions at Sheringham Museum at The Mo

featuring famous photographer Olive Edis

‘Olive Edis : a life in focus 1876-1955 & the road to Ypres’

These vibrant exhibitions, cover the life and work of one of the most interesting female photographers of last century. Witty through her letters, innovative and entrepreneurial in her career and independently minded in both her private and public life she brought vitality and empathy to her subjects. Olive lived in Sheringham for over 50 years with a local studio based in the town but also worked in London. Coming from a professional family she surprised her contemporaries by

photographing fishermen as well as politicians and royalty with equal skill and pleasure.

A thirst for adventure saw her travel to Europe, the Middle East and the Far East, and the Amazon and in 1919 she took photographs of British female medical workers in France and Belgium – this forming the subject matter of The Road to Ypres exhibition and ensuring her position as Britain’s first female war photographer.

At home she was the family breadwinner and was an example to her workforce of mainly female employees in a period when career women were the exception to the rule. She embraced all the emerging techniques of colour technology and the evidence of her passion is embodied in the collection of work she left behind. These two exhibitions, from 6 June until 23 September, provide insight into the work and personality of an extraordinary renaissance woman.

It's always a difficult decision this time of year about whether to admit a hedgehog into care as hoglets are now be being born & you could well be removing a mother from her brood.

An active hedgehog out during the day could be a mother searching for a quick meal before heading back to her nest, but an inactive hog laying outside in the daytime is most probably sick or injured and will need help straight away.

St Andrews Methodist Church Special 50th Anniversary ‘Golden Moments’ Flower Festival

Flower arrangers from towns and villages all over North Norfolk are busily planning for arguably the district’s premier flower festival which takes place at St Andrew’s Methodist Church, Cromer Road, Sheringham from Thursday 5 July to Sunday 8 July.

The annual festival started as a one-day event nearly 50 years ago to raise funds for the building of the church and has since grown to a four-day event which has become a major event for both the church and the town, regularly attracting around 3000 visitors with several coach parties and many planning their holidays around the festival dates.

Each year the talented flower arrangers design their floral displays to a specific theme with exceptional attention to detail and creativity. Last year’s theme was ‘Music in Bloom’ and our photos illustrate just how cleverly they interpret the theme.

This year is the 50th Anniversary of the church and to crown the many events that have been planned to celebrate this historic milestone an extra special festival is being organised with a theme ‘Golden Moments’. Floral displays will represent special times and events in people’s lives, significant national and international landmarks and last, but not least, highlights in St. Andrew’s history. Twenty eight arrangements will be presented with titles such as ‘Fall of the Berlin Wall’, ‘The Poppy Line’, ‘Rescue by Lifeboat’, ‘Holding a New Born Baby’, ‘The

Channel Tunnel’, ‘Celebration of Flower Festivals’, ‘Noah’s Ark’ and many more.

Throughout the Festival background music, played by organists both local and further afield add to the ambiance of the event.

In addition to being amazed by the floral arrangements visitors will be able to browse the many stalls offering a superb variety of plants, jigsaws, books, arts & crafts, souvenirs and gifts, jewellery, Stained glass art, Christian books, Fair Trade, quality bric-a-brac, a raffle, quality cards and various quizzes. A children’s activity table on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival should keep the children happy and a prayer space will be available for those wishing quiet reflection. Catering forms a major part of the Festival with light lunches, cream teas and an extensive choice of cakes on offer. Overall a visit to St Andrew`s Flower Festival is a thoroughly enjoyable way to pass a few hours.

Entry to the festival is free but donations are gratefully accepted. Proceeds from the festival go to church funds but each year a sizeable donation is given to a local charity. Last year around ÂŁ1000 was donated to Sheringham Age Concern and this year Sheringham Lifeboat will be the beneficiary.

The Festival will be opened on Thursday 5 July at 10am by the Mayor of Sheringham, Madeline Ashcroft and daily opening/closing times will be 10am to 5pm on

Raising Funds for The Countryside Restoration Trust

Eddie Bullimore and Lynn Frarey are now fundraising for The Countryside Restoration Trust, having previously successfully raised nearly ÂŁ20.000 for Songbird Survival.

The Countryside Restoration Trust protects not only birds but all wildlife, wild flowers, trees, insects, everything with nature but most importantly educates children – including school visits, making beetle banks, growing their own plants, studying red squirrels ,birdwatching so many things for them to learn about nature.

We are holding yard sales with the generosity of the public and will hopefully be successful in raising as much money as possible.

We hope the public will continue to support us with our new charity.

Local church to open Men’s Shed in Sheringham Lighthouse Community Church in Sheringham will be setting up a Men’s Shed in the town centre, hopefully by the autumn of this year. The process of buying the former St John Ambulance Hall in Wyndham Street is underway, and planning permission for a change of use, to bring it back to being used as a community hall, has just been received. Sheringham Shed will be a project of Lighthouse Charity Trust.

The day after the shed development group, set up by the church, met for the first time, they learned that the premises were coming on the market. Within a matter of days, they also learned that a Christian Trust had agreed a grant for the charity to purchase the building and make it weatherproof — a cause for great rejoicing!

Dan Ward, who leads the group said “Once the purchase is completed, the work begins in earnest to get the Sheringham Shed ready to be used. There is a lot of clearing out to be done before we can do the necessary repairs and alterations to meet health and safety regulations and make the whole building accessible to those with disabilities.

“Sheringham Shed will provide a place where men of all ages and backgrounds can meet

Sheringham Independent 490

together to encourage each other and promote general physical, mental, emotional, social, relational and spiritual well-being. Somewhere to relax, learn, discuss issues, and share concerns, knowing they are among friends. We want guys to able to share skills and interests, to exchange ideas and pass on knowledge. We also want them to actively pursue hobbies and pastimes, as well as work on projects that will aid the community and help develop a positive sense of achievement.”

Eryl Williams, the Lighthouse Charity Trustee designated to oversee the development of the shed commented “As Trustees, we are delighted with the way everything is coming together and we are grateful to the men we believe God has brought to the fore, ‘for such a time as this.’ We are now aiming to be operational by the end of September, with a Grand Opening pencilled in for Saturday 20 October.” Peter Farley, who is responsible for the administration and fundraising added, “For over eight years, some of us have had a vision

June 30th 2018

to open a Men’s Shed, so these are exciting times. We have been really blessed by the funds we have already received, and we believe that, in time, we will have all we need to refurbish and equip.

“We want Sheringham Shed to be a place where the lonely and isolated, and those who feel discouraged or downhearted, sense they are accepted and valued. We believe therefore that Sheringham Shed should be somewhere love is expressed;

hospitality is practised; inclusivity is paramount; acceptance is sacrosanct; abilities are developed; learning is nurtured; skills are learned; wisdom is shared; development is organic; sharing is engendered; creativity is encouraged; sensitivity is cultivated, and tolerance is cherished. “These aren’t just lofty ideals : they are our core values. We don’t want somewhere that is ostentatious, but we do want a place that lets guys know the extent to which they are welcomed and appreciated.”

On the evening of Saturday 21 July we welcome the theatre group, Crude Apache, and on Friday 27 July, being Norfolk Day, the museum will be open for free plus Falcon will be running too. See our website for full details.

July at the Museum of the Broads

For those who have not yet seen our First World War exhibition plenty of opportunity exists as it is on until Armistice Day, 11 November.

Saturday 7 July is our big social event by the river. Come and listen to the popular Reverie Jazz Trio with their relaxed Gypsy style jazz music. Doors open at 6pm and this is a must for your diary! Bring a picnic and a folding table and chair would not come amiss. The cost is £10 for adults and £3 for children to 18 years. This includes the opportunity to look round the Museum. There will be a bar, and our steam boat, Falcon, will be running 30 minute river trips for adults £4, and children £2.50. Under fives are free. Book early!

Many more events are planned for the rest of the season so keep in touch by visiting www.museumofthebroads.org.uk. The Museum is open Sunday to Friday 10am to 4.30pm with Falcon running Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday hourly from 10.30am. Tel 01692 581681 to book seats.

Sheringham interchange waiting times set for improvement

Poor links between bus and train services in Sheringham look set for improvement following a meeting chaired by Norfolk MP Norman Lamb.

A meeting organised and chaired by local MP Norman Lamb saw key Norfolk transport officials meet to discuss ways to improve the trainbus interchange between Sheringham and Holt.

Actions agreed upon include: • Bus times will be displayed at Sheringham train station; • Maps at the station will show bus stops; • The station will have a sign to bus stops; • When Sanders review their operation of the Coasthopper service in September they will

liaise with Greater Anglia to look to see whether they can improve the timing of buses to link up with trains; • At the same time they will consider whether they can extend the range of throughticketing to apply on Holt buses.

This follows analysis by David Hurdle and James Thomson, Sheringham and Holt residents, showing that reasonable interchange times at Sheringham station are inconsistent, and there is currently no provision for ensuring reasonable changeover times between train and bus departures.

If people are left waiting for a connection it can be a really frustrating experience, and it puts people off using public transport.

This was a productive meeting and I hope to see improvements in the interchange times at Sheringham and elsewhere as a result. I am also really keen to see more opportunities for passengers to be able to buy through-tickets for journeys involving rail and bus services.

Mr Hurdle said “After quite a long wait I can now see some specific and positive action proposed which is very good news. The operators are taking notice, and by their joint working we will hopefully get more attractive and better promoted public transport.”

WETHACOTE Mr Lamb said “Good transport links are essential in rural areas like North Norfolk.

A Feminine Female

One thing I’ve been grateful for, in this life of mine, Is the fact that I’m a woman, through and through. No matter what my age, (‘til my eventual decline), I’ll love being a feminine female, wouldn’t you? Adulthood is better than expected, I must own up, When I came of age, it surpassed my wildest dreams! The freedom that comes with being a real grown-up, Was like flying high on one of life’s jet-streams! Feminists seem to hate all signs of femininity, But I dress to please myself, so I don’t care! No doubt they’d criticise me for my flirtatious ways, But, as long as we’re all equal, it’s hot air! With such horror in our lives, (it’s a wonder love survives), Is a little vanity so great a sin? What man has done to man, means we must do all we can, To bring laughter to our lives - let love flood in! So, I’ll continue on my way, wearing make-up every day, What does it matter if my eyelashes are curled? In the overall scheme of things, we must enjoy whatever brings A smile into this cold, hard-hearted world! Frances Wraight

New film campaign promotes north Norfolk as ‘natural’ choice for a holiday

Visit North Norfolk, the official commissioned partner of North Norfolk District Council, is launching a digital marketing campaign featuring ten short films promoting north Norfolk to visitors. The eleven-month campaign, North Norfolk, Naturally, running from June 2018, features ten new thirty second films focussing on the unique aspects of north Norfolk. The campaign has been funded by North Norfolk District Council and local business sponsorship.

Cllr Nigel Dixon, North Norfolk District Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Business and Tourism, said “The value of tourism to the north Norfolk economy is enormous. We have backed this campaign because it is an excellent platform to promote the wide range of tourism businesses which add so much variety to the widely renowned ‘natural’ attractions of North Norfolk.

The first film, which launches the campaign, is called ‘Discover Unique North Norfolk’ and reveals what makes north Norfolk a unique destination to visit; the Cromer Chalk Reef, Blue Flag and awardwinning beaches, Deep History Coast, dark skies and The Broads National Park. Each subsequent film will promote specific areas of interest including: history and heritage, arts and culture, family holidays, nature and wildlife, walking and cycling, food and drink, towns and villages, coast and beaches and adventure and activity holidays.

A film, relevant to the time of year, will be promoted monthly through a targeted digital campaign using #northnorfolknaturally, on Facebook, Instagram and digital adverts, highlighting north Norfolk as an all-year round destination. The films will also be promoted on the Britain is GREAT website (britainisgreat.com), which is run in association with tourist boards and destinations across the country, bringing visitors an insight into the UK through films.

Alongside campaign funding from North Norfolk District Council, local businesses also offered their support with sponsorship; sponsors include Norfolk Hideaways (title sponsor), The Holkham Estate, The Grove in Cromer and Norfolk Trails.

Update on the appeal to restore the derelict six bells at All Saints In Sheringham (Upper), From Norfolk to New York, Upper Sheringham

Since launching the appeal to raise £75,000 we are delighted to report that from donations alone we have so far raised £15,000. We will soon receive the Faculty (planning permission for Churches) and will then start applying for grants and work will start on the new floor being built to provide a ‘ringing gallery’ where the bellringers will stand to ring the bells. This will be in full view of the congregation, so if you have never seen church bells being rung, once this project is completed you will have your chance! You could even come along and have a go yourself! My son who lives in America is keenly following the progress from across the pond, and has written this poem about the project: The Bells of Sheringham (Upper) The bells of the tower,
