Following the retirement of James Stanbrook, the Governors of Sheringham Woodfields School have appointed Annette Maconochie as the School's Head Teacher
Annette joined the school two years ago as Deputy Head Teacher, having previously served as an Assistant Head Teacher at Clare School in Norwich
On the announcement of her appointment, Annette said: "I am delighted to have been appointed as Head Teacher, and I am looking forward to building on the strengths of the school and taking it forward into the future I will also continue to support Norfolk County Council in delivering excellent provision and outcomes for children and young adults with SEND "
Sheringham Woodfields School is a purpose-built school for pupils with complex needs situated on the outskirts of Sheringham, where it shares a campus with Sheringham Academy and Sheringham Primary School It offers exceptional facilities both within the school and in the outside play areas which are designed to assist pupils with complex needs and multi-sensory impairments to gain the best possible education
In 2019 Sheringham Woodfields School was again obtained an Outstanding Ofsted judgement

Reflections from the outgoing Chair of ACNN - January 2023 (Updated
When I moved to North Norfolk in 2013 I was interested in the needs of the many older people here, and volunteered at Glendon House (Overstrand) and Halsey House (Dementia Friendly Cromer)
I became a trustee at Age Concern North Norfolk in 2015 and then chair in 2016 I stepped down from the position at the end of October 2022 and completed a final “consultancy basis” period at the end of January 2023
I continue to serve as a Governor of the NSFT (Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust). Over the last 8 years funding bid processes have become more rigorous and, during 20192021 with the pandemic sandwiched in between those years, the charity had to ride out
many storms.
Over the years various trustees have given freely and faithfully of their time The current chair is my former colleague Mark Danson-Hatcher and I am confident that he will continue to guide the “ship” into smoother waters – not least because of his naval background! He is supported by four other trustees Anneliese Maerz (in post since February 2021) continues to successfully manage the Day Centre Hub’s activities
It gives me great pleasure to be handing over to a new chair at a high point where referrals have never been greater and staff have never delivered so many delicious “Meals on Heels ” I would like to offer my sincere thanks to all

On 10 January, after an excellent lunch at The Links Hotel in West Runton, Jacqui Palmer (Heritage Development Manager at the Henry Blogg Museum) spoke to us about the RNLI in Cromer Jacqui spoke in particular about Henry Blogg, Cromer ’s famous and most decorated lifeboatman in RNLI history, who in the course of his long career was awarded 3 gold medals from the RNLI, 4 silver medals, and also the George Cross and British Empire Medal
One of the rescues which Jacqui described was that of the crew of the barge Sepoy, which had been on its way from Hull to London but got into trouble off Cromer The seas were extremely stormy, and it was impossible to shoot a line from the beach to the barge The lifeboat Alexandra attempted the rescue but Henry Blogg returned with another lifeboat -H F Bailey - which was deliberately crashed onto the barge as the seas made it impossible to draw alongside; the H F Bailey made the rescue and was landed on the beach afterwards
Jacqui told us also about several other dramatic rescues (see, e g ,

ThreadBear is a new charity shop in Sheringham, run by the town’s Lighthouse Community Church, and offering pre-loved children’s clothes, toys and equipment at affordable prices
The purpose of the shop is to provide a low-cost source of clothing, toys, games, baby equipment etc for the community, especially at a time when the cost of living is surging Any profits will help to provide much-needed funds for the other community activities of the church
Sue Savory, founder and manager of ThreadBear said, “A few months ago our church operations team met to discuss further ways we could reach out and provide support for families as well as raising much needed funds In order to focus on families, we wanted a project to uniquely join many of the other services we offer here at Lighthouse Community Church That’s where ’ThreadBear ’ preloved stuff for kids was born ”
The project was offered the use of a newly built room attached to the Lighthouse auditorium, which was not being fully used, so plans were made to transform the room into the very first Lighthouse shop
Sue continues, “We would never have got off the ground without our amazing volunteers who gave up their very valuable time, energy, and creativity to transform the premises and turn our dreams into reality, especially David, Tony, Sue, Jenny,

Sheringham Church Launches Children’s Charity Shop
Becky, Sally, Connor and Stuart. A huge thank you for their input and expertise in getting us started ”
Once the “bear” bones of the shop were in place, a team of volunteers were recruited to help in the day to day running of the shop, and an appeal went out for donations, which brought in an impressive quantity of high-quality stock
A Zenith recycling bin was set up at the front of Lighthouse where anyone from the community can deposit clean clothing, fabrics, shoes, handbags etc
“What happened after that was truly wonderful,” said Sue, “our community responded and are still responding in outstanding ways The sheer volume and quality of stock that we now have to sell is nothing short of a Biblical miracle! We give heartfelt thanks to all those who have donated and continue to donate We now have a shop filled to the brim with wonderful preloved, excellent quality items for children from birth to teens, including baby equipment We even have a single bed!”
ThreadBear normally has the same opening hours as Lighthouse Café and Soft Play: 10 30am to
2.30pm Tuesday to Friday each week. The shop is also open during the “Family Fridays” where free meals and activities are provided for families from 5pm to 7pm, currently on alternate Fridays A popular time for customers is at the conclusion of the toddler group “Little Ones” which runs from 9 30am every Thursday in term time Sue explained that many of the mums come to this and then stay for coffee and visit the shop, thus providing much needed space for them to form new friendships and for their little ones to have a wonderful morning of fun Younger customers even receive a popular ThreadBear sticker when they visit
Sue has a willing team of enthusiastic volunteers, which includes Roz Treadway, Tina Hicks, Sue Robinson, Margaret Bickford, Susan Tucker, Jenny Chakanyuka, Sue Ross, Becky Gabriel, Sally Frere- Smith, Sue Cook, and David Bickford, without whom, she says, the scheme just wouldn’t happen!
She concluded “At the very heart of this project is our desire to serve and support our community and join up some of the dots between the services we provide here at Lighthouse So why not give us visit? You can make a whole morning of it with the option of having a coffee or light lunch while your little ones play in our free soft play area ” Visit the ThreadBear Facebook page and find them on Instagram

Gunton Sawmill
Gunton's Water-powered Sawmill is one of the top attractions in North Norfolk The focus of the sawmill is to preserve and demonstrate aspects of England's industrial heritage. We run the 200-year-old saw on open days and for private groups making it popular with tourists and locals alike
There is also a growing museum of woodland industries, building trades and other rural crafts, so we are looking for volunteers to help run and develop both the sawmill and exhibits
We need practical people to operate the saw, stewards to engage with the public and explain the machinery and history of the sawmill
We are also looking for administrative 'Friends' Professionals and experts to seek and apply for funding, update with the Facebook page and website and generally oversee and advise on what needs doing and chase it up Rural crafts people and static displays are always popular so more of those for open days too
We are hosting a volunteer day on March the 12th, 2pm till 4pm, adults only please Sawmill gate will be open, NR11 7HL If you would like to be involved, please come along or contact us via the website: guntonparksawmill co uk

Sheringham is a Fairtrade Town of which we are all very proud thanks to the hard work of Brenda Smith and others over many years To ensure Sheringham stays a Fairtrade Town and is committed to flying the flag for fair trade not just locally but across the world, the ‘Fairtrade for Sheringham’ group is currently conducting a survey among the retail establishments to ensure they are aware of the Fairtrade movement and how they might support it
To celebrate and highlight Fairtrade Fortnight as above, the following event will take place:
• Big Brew Coffee Morning, cake stall & Fairtrade stall, St Andrew’s Methodist Church, Cromer Road Saturday 4th March from 10am-12noon
Proceeds for both events will go to Transform Trade which works closely with farmers in countries such as Kenya Edith is one such farmer, who values the support she is given by Transform Trade to assist her to make her farm more efficient and sustainable ‘Fairtrade for Sheringham’ encourages us all to look for goods with the Fairtrade logo above, such as tea, coffee, sugar, chocolate, biscuits and many other products More details from Jean Parton (01263) 821600 or jeanparton24@gmail.com

Legal steps to consider when diagnosed with a life-limiting illness
by Kieran Athow, Solicitor, Hayes + Storr
On top of the heartbreak and worry that a diagnosis of a life-limiting illness can cause, there will be a raft of concerns and uncertainties about your care and financial affairs, and it can be difficult to know exactly how to prepare from a legal standpoint
There are steps you can take to ensure that your care runs smoothly following such a diagnosis
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) for Health and Welfare can be an essential part of future care planning, alongside the preparation of an Advance Care Plan
Considerations for an LPA for Health and Welfare
An LPA for Health and Welfare allows you to appoint a number of individuals to act as your ‘attorneys’ with respect to your health and care decisions Your attorneys must be over 18 years of age and have mental capacity
You must select your attorneys carefully, having due consideration as to whether such individual(s) would be appropriate attorney(s) and whether they have suitable character/ experience to make difficult decisions on your behalf
Your attorneys will have the power to make
decisions on your behalf in relation to your health and care, including but not limited to; your daily routine (diet etc), medical care, moving into a care home and also decisions surrounding life sustaining treatment (with the latter being subject to express authorisation being provided within the LPA itself)
It is important to note that your attorneys can only deal with your health and care decisions when you become incapable of making such decisions yourself
You may also wish to prepare an LPA for Property and Financial Affairs This will deal with decisions surrounding your banking, selling your home and paying any bills and outgoings during your lifetime.
Advance Care Plan
In addition to an LPA, an Advance Care Plan (ACP) allows you to clearly set out your personal wishes regarding the care and treatment you should receive It is not a legally binding document; however, it ensures that the people involved in your care know what is important to you
ACPs are normally made together with your healthcare team. Some people feel they need help from their nurse or doctor to fill in an
ACP, but you can complete one yourself An example of an Advance Care Plan template can be found on the Dementia UK website.
Once completed, you should keep a copy amongst your papers and also give a copy to anyone else involved in your care If you have prepared an LPA for Health and Welfare, then you should make a note of this within your ACP
Will considerations
It is also important that you consider the terms of your existing will (if held) to ensure that no changes are required If you do not have an existing will, then it is advisable that you consider preparing one

In the Know
The cost-of-living crisis has continued to be an issue which your Council team have had to deal with There continue to be referrals to both our local food banks at Cromer and Sheringham Housing issues continue as a result of the housing crisis we face in Norfolk Although it is reassuring that NNDC is in the top 5 Councils in the country for provision of affordable housing we are still unable, due to current legislation, to bring forward sufficient housing to alleviate the current situation NNDC among other authorities with similar issues has agreed to bring forward the 100% council tax levy on second homes but it is disappointing the government are delaying this until 2024 and not including the means for housing authorities such as NNDC to retain that money as ring fenced for affordable social
housing Approximately 8 million for NNDC Tim Farron has proposed an amendment in the Bill to enable this to happen As a Liberal Democrat administration, we hope our local MP will support this as we consider it vital to resolving some of the issues we face in North Norfolk Cllr Withington instigated the Warm Spaces for all Scheme in Sheringham and is continuing to drive this forward It is an important scheme as it ensures there are warm spaces for all ages, everyday across the community. In particular the strategy focused on ensuring that young families with under fives have a place to go daily, there is access to a hot lunch for many should they wish it and those working from home who may be working in the cold and possibly feeling lonely have workplaces to go with WI-Fi It has also been an important way of bringing the Community further together under the Healthier Sheringham Project
Following on from the Community engagement about Cooper Road Playpark we are pleased to say
that NNDC have agreed to take on the future responsibility for management of the safety and maintenance of the park once improvements are made Cllr Heinink is now able to go ahead and invite play park equipment companies to come forward and help design improvements based on families’ and local residents suggestions and then look for funding We will of course re-engage with the community once designs are in place It was also an excellent moment in a long process when the Full Council agreed for the CPO to go ahead on the Shannocks This is a complicated process and timetables have to be strictly adhered to for the process to not be appealed There is one live planning application still on the table Residents will be reassured we are sure that this is the one that retains the important Chequers Car Park, unlike the previous administration’s proposal which took this space within the new development

Sheringham Hedgehog Hotel
It was lovely to see so many keen and interested people at my hedgehog talk last month, organised by Sustainability Sheringham as part of their regular program of meetings at the Quaker Meeting Rooms in Sheringham
All the hedgehogs that were moved into hutches in the shed are now hibernating They will be released in the spring when they have awoken and put on some weight They’re weight and profile weren’t keeping pace with the falling temperatures in December to be released over the winter
You should still be putting out dry food and fresh water, keeping them topped up regularly Hedgehogs emerging from hibernation will want to quickly regain their weight and start looking for a mate. A Roman tradition says that if a hedgehog was seen at the start of February it was thought to be a sign of good weather A no-show from hedgehogs meant winter was sure to continue several more weeks Don’t be tempted to tidy up leaves or logs in winter as they may be sheltering a hibernating hedgehog If you accidentally disturb one, cover it back up straight away - unless there is a chance you could have injured it, e g with a fork In which case, rescue it in a high-sided box with a towel and contact your nearest hedgehog rescue immediately
If you do accidentally disturb a hedgehog that is hibernating in an unsuitable place – like a garage or plastic sack it will need re-locating to a hedgehog house with straw bedding Again, contact your nearest hedgehog rescue for advice as it will need to be moved very carefully
You can contact Sheringham hedgehog Hotel on 07941 381 438 or phone the British Hedgehog Preservation Society on 01584 890801 to find your nearest rescue centre

A recent study at Coltishall Clinic has shown that a third of our patients are now men. We offer a range of medical treatments unlike a lot of purely cosmetic clinics
Men can be just as concerned about their looks as women and how society views them It has seemed the norm for a long time for men to accept that they cannot change things
Not anymore, the trend is that more men are coming for a variety of treatments and enjoying the benefits Men want to remain youthful and often want to keep up with their partners (who often introduce them to these treatments or bring them along to appointments.)
Here at Coltishall Clinic we understand that men don’t want to give up their masculinity We help to navigate patients through the numerous treatments we offer and to give you the look that you wish to achieve
All our invasive treatments are performed purely under local anaesthesia on a walk-in walk-out basis so there is no worry about general anaesthesia and hospitalisation issues
Here is a selection of our treatments for men:
● Acne or acne scarring [chemcal peels, microdermabrasion, IPL, Lasers]
● Fractional co2 laser resurfacing
● Masculine facial contouring, cheekbone and jawline enhancement
● Shaving bumps, moles, cysts, warts and verrucae removal
● Unwanted hair on face, back, chest, legs etc
● Rosacea & rhinphyma [bulbous nose reduction]
● Pigmentation/ broken veins on face
● Thread and spider veins
● Frown lines, crow’s feet & wrinkle softening
● Ageing face, volume replacement, nose to mouth lines softening etc
● Age spots, sun spots and liver spots
● Radiofrequency skin tightening
● Ultrasound body contouring
● Liposuction for face, neck, chin, jowls, man boobs, love handles and many body areas

We have seen increasing number of men including older men come in for our minimally invasive but very effective surgical options such as a direct brow lift, eyelid surgery or a direct neck lift
The beauty of these procedures is that they are relatively simple, uncomplicated procedures that provide great results with no significant recovery period or discomfort

Everyone needs a reliable source to get information about what’s happening, and when As well as advising planned events this newsletter runs alongside our Facebook page to give information on when volunteers will be needed People can then forward plan and offer help when they can
Priorities may change but everyone should be kept informed and future issues will provide information on topics such as how to sign up for First Aid courses which are funded by Carnival in exchange for helping out at a few events

This is particularly beneficial for chronic conditions and significantly improves our pets’ quality of life
As part of this commitment we offer our patients Laser Therapy which reduces inflammation and provides pain relief It is effective at treating acute and chronic pain as well as improving wound healing It is most frequently performed in contact with the area being treated, however, for nervous patients it can be used without contact with the body and can also be applied to acupuncture points to achieve similar responses to traditional acupuncture without requiring application of needles
Laser therapy is safe, painless and fast with most sessions taking 5-10 minutes per area of treatment and most patients show significant improvement after 3-5 treatment sessions
Laser therapy stimulates the body’s own healing powers by stimulating cellular activity which reduces inflammation, provides pain relief, stimulates nerve regeneration and improves tissue repair often leading to a reduction in requirement for medication and reduced healing times Laser therapy often forms part of the treatment for osteoarthritis, degenerative joint disease (eg hip and elbow dysplasia), intervertebral disc disease (spinal pain), skin disease, post operative wound healing, sprains and strains, treatment of orthopaedic disease (eg cruciate ligament rupture) and periodontal disease
We are one of the few centres within East Anglia to have a Laser suitable to perform
Sheringham & District Philatelic Society
these treatments and are happy to discuss the suitability of laser therapy as part of your pets’ care.
The first meeting of the year took place on January 9th Our Chairman Gerry Smith has been absent in recent weeks, due to illness, and Jane Purkiss chaired the meeting. The committee has decided that the Colin Turner shield should be presented to Gerry for his immense contribution to the Society over the last 20 years or more All present endorsed this decision and asked for their best wishes to be passed on to him
The Christmas social event had been cancelled due to bad weather and so was postponed to January As well as time for catching up with each other, 8 members displayed 5 pages from their collections, as part of an annual competition. The winner was Jim Farrell with a beautiful display of French Art stamps He was presented with a shield which will be inscribed with his name There were also philatelic items for sale to peruse whilst consuming the Festive “eats”
The next meeting is the AGM, on Monday, February 13th at 7.30pm in West Runton Church Hall. Visitors are welcome. More info Jim 01263 721043

Pace of Mind Project
We all know how beneficial to our mental health regular exercise and access to nature can be and Pace of Mind offers great support to people who may want to get out and exercise, but not know quite how to get started!
Our project is designed in part for people with mild to moderate mental health and offers opportunities to build mental resilience alongside making connections in the community and having a lot of laughs.
We all have a level of mental health, so these group activities are really for all of us
It would be amazing if there was a way this could be published in the Sheringham Independent as I know this is a far-reaching local publication with many readers who may benefit from these regular sessions
We have sessions scheduled starting and finishing at Sheringham Community Centre on Wednesday afternoons from 2 00pm - 3 30pm on the following dates:
• February - 15th and 22nd
• March - 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th
• April - 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th

Editor ’s Recipe
It’s Valentine’s Day and what could be more of a treat for your amore than an indulgent chocolate pudding to round off a special meal?
As you know, I try to keep recipes simple, and this one is no exception There is a little magic involved but the pudding does all that in the oven, producing a light sponge on top with a delicious, silky sauce on the bottom Excellent served with cream, crème fraise or a delicate crème anglaise (custard to you and me) Add a few of your favourite berries on the plate for a special touch
This pudding is quite rich, so will easily serve
6 Any leftovers can be covered and put in the fridge to be reheated in the microwave
Self-saucing Chocolate Pudding
Ingredients
130g plain flour
25g cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder pinch of salt
100g soft brown sugar
60g butter, melted (+ extra for greasing)
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
125ml whole milk
For the sauce
25g cocoa powder
100g soft brown sugar
250ml boiling water
Method
▪ Preheat your oven to Gas 4, 180C / 160C fan
▪ Grease an (approximately) 8 inch pie dish or baking dish with butter.
▪ In a medium mixing bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt Whisk together to combine
▪ In a separate medium mixing bowl, beat together the melted butter and sugar until smooth Add the egg and vanilla and beat well, scraping down the sides of the bowl to make sure everything is well combined and smooth
▪ Add ⅓ of the dry ingredients to the butter mixture Stir through gently until just combined
Fastest Pud in Norfolk!
I do hope that no one challenges me on this (!) but in an emergency, having completely forgotten to produce a pudding one Sunday, I decided to try something I have always meant to do but never got around to; a microwaved steam pudding I have seen it done many times (thank you for the inspiration, Joselyn!) but never quite plucked up the courage, but these were desperate times So with trepidation I whisked up what I hoped would be a delicious, light airy sponge, grabbed the marmalade and went for it…what a wonderful invention the
For more information on the above roles, please email admin@blakeneyhotel.co.uk or call 01263 740797
▪ Now add half of the milk, mix gently again
▪ Continue like this until all the flour and milk is combined
just It is important not to overmix or the cake may turn out dense and tough
▪ Pour the pudding batter into your prepared dish
▪ For the sauce: Mix together the cocoa, sugar and boiling water in a small bowl until well combined (it will look watery but don’t worry)
▪ Slowly pour the sauce over the back of a spoon all over the top of the pudding mixture in the dish
▪ Bake the pudding for 25-30 minutes The top should look dry and be a little springy. Lift carefully out of the oven (the sponge will be floating on the sauce) and serve
microwave is! Not only does it produce the lightest sponge I’ve ever had, but it is also a super economical way to cook, something we all need at the moment, and the speed it does it!
This recipe feeds around 4 to 5 if you add lashings of custard (microwave again, obviously) and I’m so blown away by the ease and speed that my family’s waistlines will be increasing over the next few weeks and months as I experiment with different flavours I guess that’s the end of the New Year Diet!
Speedy Sponge Pudding with Marmalade
4 oz self-raising flour
3 oz caster sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp baking powder
3 oz butter/marge (I use Clover)
1 tablespoon milk
1 dessert spoon orange blossom water (optional, use orange essence if you prefer)
2 tablespoons orange marmalade
▪ Put everything except the marmalade into a bowl and whisk until light and fluffy
▪ Grease a 2lb pudding basin generously, add a circle of greaseproof paper into the bottom and grease this also
▪ Spoon your marmalade into the bottom of the basin, and spoon your pudding mix on top, evening out the top
▪ Put into the microwave on high for 5 mins, check and if it’s still a little loose in the middle return for another minute
▪ Carefully remove from microwave and run a knife all around the outside edge of the pudding, and using a cloth carefully upend the pudding onto a plate, lifting off the bowl
▪ Remove the greaseproof paper, being very careful as the marmalade will be extremely hot, and voila! It’s ready to serve with custard, ice cream or cream Experiment with golden syrup, lemon curd or jam in place of marmalade

Another mild autumn (September, October and November) with little frost and mainly light southerly winds. Generally migrant birds were not seen in significant numbers although the expected species did turn up and were reported (along with any other interesting species) by Mark Clements and me during our walks around the site
Migrants such as Pied Flycatcher, 14 Chiffchaffs and 8 House Martins were reported (02 Sept) by Mark who also had a Hobby and a Red Kit overfly that day
Next day (03 Sept)
I caught up with a Pied Flycatcher and a Whinchat Whinchats are essentially passage migrants through Norfolk although a pair did breed on the Common in 1975 and successfully raised five young A micro-moth, the Bog-rush Fanner, which is quite a rare species, was present on the central marsh during the day. This moth has a wingspan of only 6-9mm and is found in the vicinity of its food-plant, Black Bog-rush The MV light moth trap ran that night trapped 19 species including the migrant, Rusty-dot Pearl and the unusual looking Notch-wing Button
Two Willow Warblers and 12

THIS ISSUE’S PUZZLES
Ground rent is a type of rent paid by the tenant of a leasehold property to the landlord or freeholder
It is a yearly fee that is paid in addition to the rent paid for the property itself Historically, ground rent has been a common feature of leasehold properties, with landlords charging tenants a fee for the right to use the land on which their property sits
However, in recent years, the practice of charging ground rent has come under scrutiny Many have criticized the practice as being unjust and exploitative, with tenants paying exorbitant fees for the right to live in their own homes. As a result, there have been calls for the abolition of ground rent on all new leases of leasehold properties
The government has responded to these calls by introducing the Leasehold Reform (Ground Rent) Act, which effectively abolishes ground rent on all new leases of leasehold properties, by capping all new leases to a maximum ground rent of £0 per year
The new law, which came into effect in June 2022, means that landlords will no longer be able to charge ground rent on new leases of leasehold properties While existing leaseholders will only benefit from this reform if they choose to extend their lease, otherwise they will be obliged to pay ground rent until the agreed review date
From the tenant's perspective, the abolition of ground rent is a positive development The reform will help to reduce the financial burden on those who are struggling to afford housing and will help to make housing more affordable and accessible for new tenants
From the landlord's perspective, the abolition of ground rent may have negative consequences. Ground rent is a source of income for landlords and freeholders, and its abolition could impact their ability to maintain and improve the properties they own Some landlords argue that ground rent is a necessary part of the leasehold system, as it ensures that tenants have a vested interest in the property and are more likely to take care of it Few reports suggest that landlords and freeholders may look to compensate for the loss of ground rent by raising the price of their property
The new law will also cap ground rent to a maximum of £0 per year on all retirement properties and this change is expected to come into force no earlier than April 2023
In conclusion, the abolition of ground rent on all new leases of leasehold properties is a complex issue with both positive and negative consequences On the one hand, it will help to make housing more affordable and accessible for tenants, as well as reduce the financial burden on those who are struggling to afford housing
While on the other hand, it may have negative consequences for landlords and freeholders, and could lead to an increase in property prices
It is essential that freeholders and leaseholders understand the implications of the reform and seek advice accordingly

Isaac swam the Suffolk 1,500m freestyle by swimming thirty lengths of the 50m pool and became Suffolk County Champion as he is currently on loan from North Norfolk Vikings to St Felix School, in Southwold. In the race, there was no doubt about the winner as he led the race from the gun, winning by a fifty second margin If that was not enough his winning time of 19:55 36 has qualified him for the next stage when he will compete in four more events at the Regional Championships later in the year There was also a silver medal for Isaac in the 800m freestyle with a creditable 10:19 32
Gala
Meanwhile his younger brother Noah did win his respective 800m in what was a very exciting head-to-head race with James O'Toole of the City of Norwich Club Spectators had to wait until the last 50m before there was any sign of a leader The Viking just edged ahead and held on winning in a Regional Qualifying Time of 11:32 92 from 11 36 05 recorded by James in the Norfolk race
"I planned my attack when I went into the last turn. Then I felt like I couldn't breathe, and I could no longer see James, but I knew I just had to keep going!" remarked the determined new Norfolk County Champion after the race However, the positions were reversed in the 1,500m when James won in 22:43 12 giving Noah the silver in 24:19.28 respectively.
Isaac aged 14 and Noah 12, who live in Beeston, will now have a busy schedule in
