Founded in 1952, Reeves Young is a fully integrated construction company made up of five business units: Water Resources, Heavy Civil, Commercial Public, Commercial Private, and Industrial. Each group stands independent as their respective scopes of work are different, however each group’s ability to perform at a high level is bolstered by the experience and expertise of the other’s. Eric Young is a renowned construction and legacy business creator who instills powerful, customized entrepreneurial solutions to every client. A highly sought-after resource for Fortune 500 clients by the age of 26, Eric has led the construction of many landmark projects in the Southeast. His expertise and reputation in the industry positioned him as the “go-to” Project Manager for Universal Studios, Disney Corporation, Chase Manhattan Bank, Allstate Insurance, and Raymond James Financial. His largest project prior to his current position was the $250 Million, 1,040,000 sq ft Georgia Aquarium.
Since forming Reeves Young in 2006, his enigmatic and powerful leadership style has enabled the company to constantly evolve and exceed even their own projections. During the last 16 years with Mr. Young as CEO, the company has grown from 14 employees to over 460, and is projected to achieve the $1 billion dollar volume benchmark by the end of this year.
With dozens of active ventures, Mr. Young consistently engages his passion for creating and developing dynamic companies across the US. His proven track record of creating companies that are not just profitable, but that have a unique culture that molds each employee into their most driven, successful selves has deemed him the “Leader that creates Leaders.”
Steve Heyward utilizes his more than 30 years of operations experience to expertly lead people to do more with less. He is significantly involved in the company’s preconstruction efforts, including pre-planning, design reviews, cost analysis, final pricing, and Subcontractor selection. His talent for analyzing complexities and using a collaborative approach has enabled him guide owners seamlessly through the process of development and construction and has proved invaluable to Reeves Young’s projects and clients.
Kyle Krejci is a seasoned financial manager and accounting professional with more than 22 years of experience in the construction industry. Kyle’s expertise involves managing all aspects of the Company’s fiscal practices, including budgeting and financial reporting. His role also includes providing oversight of all financial performance, operational management, internal controls, and quality review. Kyle’s organizational skills and attention to detail combined with his industry experience ensure that he adds value to every Reeves Young project.

William Reeves represents the third generation of Reeves leadership for the Company and is committed to continuing the solid industry relationships his family has established. Frequently performing work as both a Subcontractor and Prime Contractor, William is equally versed in both the Preconstruction and Construction phase of projects. He is also involved with the daily oversight and coordination of his project teams.

Matt McCormack is adept in all components of successful delivery for large water projects and is a pioneer in alternative delivery procurement. His 30 years of experience in the industry is marked by the successful completion of a multitude of water/wastewater projects totaling over $1 billion in revenue. Matt is a direct and energizing leader and forms strategic partnerships and engaged teams that work together toward a unified goal, benefiting everyone involved in his projects.

Reeves Young provided preconstruction and construction services for this mixed-use project in a live-work-play community adjacent to the Atlanta Braves Truist Park. Work completed included the 58,245 SF two-story structural steel and masonry Roxy Theatre, a 97,000 SF four-story concrete tilt-up core and shell office building including interior buildout, and a six-level 380-car precast parking deck.

Reeves Young was chosen by Live Nation and JLL to complete construction services for the Chastain Park Amphitheater Facility and related site work. This project included the renovation of the East Plaza at Chastain Amphitheater, including a new plaza with landscaping, a VIP deck, and three new structures. The existing concessions and public restrooms were replaced by a two-story concessions/ commissary building, public women’s restroom, and public men’s restroom. Additionally, two new exterior elevators that provided ADA access from Alex Cooley Parkway to the plaza and ADA access from the VIP deck to the seating below were also installed.

SQ FTReeves Young performed as Construction Manger for the renovation and transformation of a 1950’s residential condominium building into a sleek, modern hotel for Kimpton Hotels. Located in Atlanta’s lively Buckhead area, the 8-story hotel features 216 rooms, a rooftop lounge, outdoor beer garden, ground level bar, and a resort style pool. Special attention to safety, noise minimization and coordinated construction traffic logistics were paid to the site due to the numerous residences and businesses that surrounded the property.

Reeves Young served as the Program Manager and General Contractor for this 11-story, 325 room hotel. Located next to the Houston Galleria in Uptown Houston, the Hyatt Regency Houston/ Galleria is steps from the city’s most fashionable shopping, dining, and entertainment. The hotel features 20 suites, 15,000 SF of meeting space, restaurants, and fitness center that overlooks the pool. Reeves Young also self-performed the excavation and utility installation work for the Hyatt Regency and its neighbor hotel, the Hyatt Place.

Reeves Young was selected as Construction Manager for this six-story hotel featuring 133 rooms, 940-square-feet of flexible meeting space, an onsite restaurant and a 1190-squarefoot athletic studio. The hotel also incorporated the brand’s in-room fitness elements and a balance of health-conscious food and beverage options to help guests maintain their wellness lifestyle while traveling away from home.

SQ FT OF MEETING SPACELocated within sight of the White House, this adaptive reuse, renovation project converted a mid-1960s 91,000 SF 11-story office building into a 164-room hotel. Demolished down to the concrete frame, renovations included adding new elevator shafts and stairwells, installing a steel penthouse structure, and replacing the front façade with curtain wall. Updated hotel amenities include a penthouse bar and terrace, three levels of parking, a business center, and a fitness center.

Reeves Young served as the Program Manager and General Contractor for this 15-story, 200 room Hyatt House hotel and parking garage in Nashville’s Midtown district just steps from Vanderbilt University and Nashville’s medical corridor. The hotel replaced the vacant 29,980 SF 21st Plaza office building. Designed to embrace the sound of “Music City” Reeves Young utilized SWS panelized EIFS systems to provide seven shades of white and gray in an “equalizer” fashion of color change. Our team self-performed all foundation and concrete structure, building skin, roof, and building envelope work.

Reeves Young was selected as the Construction Manager for this new, 20-story hotel and 5-story conference center located directly on Beale Street just steps from the Mississippi River. The 384,000 SF project includes 44,000 SF of meeting and conference space. The hotel features 363 guestrooms, a rooftop pool, a fine dining restaurant, three meal restaurant, and spa facility.

This 50,000 SF Class A two-story office building with high-end finishes and advanced IT package speaks to the changing trends in office buildings. The building includes activitybased workspaces which offer employees the freedom and flexibility to choose between different workspaces, including private offices, collaboration spaces, hoteling spaces, conference rooms, and casual gathering spaces featuring ping pong, shuffleboard, a lounge, and a fully equipped kitchen. The development also features a helicopter pad and hangar.

Located in the loft office building in the entertainment block adjacent to the exposed structure of Truist Park (formerly SunTrust Park), this specialty project for the Atlanta Braves Management Team consisted of a 2,927 SF interior office build-out. The office was tailored to accommodate 6 offices total, including a custom CEO office, conference room, and kitchenette. The project also included an architectural feature wall.

In addition to the parking deck, Reeves Young provided construction services for the mixed-use development’s office building and performance theater in the same area.

This 465,000 SF independent living, assisted living, and memory care facility was inspired by gothic French architecture. Featuring 6 buildings, the project included 212 luxury apartment units over a shared 2-level underground parking garage. The property’s extensive amenities include a flower shop, salon, bistro, dining hall, elevated patio, two courtyards, outdoor swimming pool, theater, library, fitness center, and massage studio. The commercial-grade kitchen also includes a high-end appliance package including Subzero, Wolff, and Bosch appliances throughout. 212

Village Park Senior Living
Reeves Young served as the contractor for this 95,000 SF four-story project containing 63 units of I-1c Institutional Occupancy. The building is constructed of a load-bearing steel frame with metal stud infill. Exterior walls are primarily brick veneers with EIFS accents. Interior walls and floor construction are rated gypsum board assemblies. The building also contains the necessary mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Reeves Young was selected to build this private Christian school for students Pre-K through 12th grade. Construction involved four, single-story buildings with masonry exterior with metal roofing and enclosed connectors between each building that total 117,000 SF on a 100-acre greenfield site. Project features included a gymnasium with stage, band room, art studio, science lab, choir room, 58 total classrooms equipped with smart boards, two chapels, administrative offices, cafeteria, media center, computer lab, and technology room with laboratory.

Saint Brigid Catholic Church
Reeves Young completed the construction of this 53,000 SF worship facility that includes a 1,200-seat sanctuary accented with traditional arched windows, stained glass, oak wood stained pews and paneling, 10 iron and glass chandeliers, exposed wood beams, and tile floors. The church also includes conference rooms, gathering spaces, education spaces, and a large fellowship hall. The exterior is composed of masonry with detailed accents, arched windows and doorways, and an ornamental metal steeple.

Reeves Young was selected to renovate this former Howard Johnson hotel built in 1972, and convert it into into Clifton Tower residence hall. Upon the hotel’s closure in 2014, the 5-story facility had never had a major upgrade until it was renovated by Reeves Young in 2019. The purpose of the renovation project was to increase the occupancy capacity and ensure that the facility met building codes. This fast-track project blended the best features of residence hall and apartment-style living and provided 140 beds and amenities such as study rooms, laundry facilities, and a common kitchen. Exterior renovations included new windows, exterior paint, and rebuilding the South Elevation utilizing a panelized EIFS wall system with energy efficient windows.

This design-build project included demolition of an existing facility, sitework and construction of a new facility. This site was utilized as a dump site over the years, and a significant amount of remediation was required. This project included an ESFR System with 36’ clear height, 76 dock doors, and a cross dock facility with two office locations. A water tank and fire pump were required at the site due to water supply limitations. The project also utilized a TPO roofing system.

This design assist and full MEP design-build project consists of two Class A, tilt wall construction warehouses on the same site, totaling 642,000 SF. Building 100 is a 36’ clear height cross dock facility with 7” thick conventional slab design. Building 200 is a 32’ clear height front load facility with a 6” conventional slab design.
The site features 180’ truck courts and a large auto parking area requiring extensive site work, utility work, and several large retaining walls. The site location also required a Department of Transportation scope of work to expand and add deceleration lanes to the adjacent state route. LEED design and construction requirements were followed to achieve LEED certification for both buildings.

This design-build project features 250,545 of SF tilt-wall construction for a warehouse facility with 32’ clear height and 6” thick conventional slab design. The building also features 49 overhead dock doors including 2 drive-in doors with concrete ramps, a TPO roofing system, and 3 storefront entrances. The 21.5 acre site consists of a variable width truck court with a designated trailer lot allowing for 116 total trailer parking spots.

This distribution center project sits on a 60-acre site with a disturbed area of 39.5 acres. Construction consists of three tiltwall buildings totaling 461,522 SF and an additional building pad for a future building. Building 1 consists of 160,746 square feet and Buildings 2 & 3 will be 150,388 SF each.

This Design Build project consists of a new 273,000 SF industrial spec facility that will meet LEED requirements on a 23-acre site. As an early partner in the design process, Reeves Young was able to help navigate the rerouting of existing runoff from the adjacent interstate storm system, as well as reroute utilities to avoid wetland impacts and rock exposure.

Reeves Young performed as Construction Manager at Risk for this new Public Works campus. The campus houses the city’s Public Works departments including Gas, Electric, Damage Prevention, Fleet Garage, and Streets & Sanitation. The new campus, located on 24.5 acres of city-owned property, included administrative office space, enclosed vehicle bays, parts storage and shop areas, covered vehicle parking, equipment and large parts storage areas, and equipment/material laydown areas.

This project consisted of demolishing an existing, abandoned movie theatre to create a campus to operate and support the entire Augusta Transit System. This included deep foundation construction to remediate the unsuitable soils at the site. The Maintenance Facility included four bays with lifts in each bay, Battery Room, Tire Shop, Parts Storage and Lube Rooms. Adjacent to the facility is a Separate Bus Wash Facility and two separate fueling stations with a dedicated fueling tank. In the main building there is an Operational wing that includes Class A Offices, Meeting Rooms, full locker room for the staff, dispatch and breakroom. The entire facility is backed up with an onsite generator as a potential FEMA checkpoint in a state of emergency.

Located on 26 acres in Greenville, SC, this 6,00 SF maintenance operations and administration facility serve Greenville Transit Authority’s Greenlink Bus System. The 40,000 SF bus maintenance area features a fleet service area with two fueling and fluid management lanes, fare collection, eight service bays, and a fully automated bus wash. The facility also houses parts, tires, and tool storage, along with locker rooms, showers, training space, and laundry services. A second 18,000 SF administration building accommodates employee offices, Transit Authority Board and Community Room, driver-ready lounge, dispatch, and conference space. The site also includes infrastructure for diesel, electric, and future compressed natural gas buses. There is also parking for approximately 200 employees and 88 bus parking spaces to accommodate future fleet growth. Site improvements were also included in order to create a green space/park environment with a walking trail and community pavilion.

This 55,000 SF public safety complex includes fire and police administration offices, evidence storage, booking, police dispatch, fitness center, locker room, and vehicle bay. The public safety complex also includes Cartersville Fire Station
No. 4 with three drive-through bays, day room, and sleeping quarters for 15. The building was designed to provide a back-up location for the emergency operations center with a training room, watch room, and redundant power supply. The new facility was constructed to be LEED Certified, utilizing sustainable site design, water and energy efficiency, and by recycling over 95% of the construction waste.

This project consisted of a new 2-story, 21,143 SF, three-bay fire station. The building includes several new features focused on safety and firefighter’s health. A 1,000 SF gymnasium on the second floor helps keep firefighters in shape. A decontamination area with a separate HVAC and airlock system allows firefighters to change out of and clean dirty turnout gear. An infrared sauna was installed to help with the firefighters’ detoxification process. The facility includes a training stairway with a rappelling wall, tunnel rescue training, and a confined space simulator, providing firefighters with critical training in-house. It also includes a public lobby, decontamination shower, gear wash area, gear storage, equipment storage, living areas, kitchen and dining, conference/community room, offices, storage room with adjacent support areas, sleeping quarters, restrooms, and other associated spaces.

Reeves Young was chosen by Cobb County to complete construction services for the Jim R Miller Exhibit Hall and related site work. This project included demolition of the existing A & B exhibit halls and replacement with a new exhibit hall. The new exhibit hall included a large open exhibit area with movable partitions to allow the space to be divided for smaller activities, office space for park staff, staff restrooms including a shower, office for event staff, a conference room shared between park staff and event staff, a concession area with exhaust hood and serving windows to allow concessions to be purchased inside and outside the building, public restrooms including family changing areas, and maintenance/storage areas.

This new state-of-the art animal shelter with an emphasis on adoption services featured an active adoption center with viewing areas, 336 kennels with protective housing, surgery wing, outdoor exercise area, operations areas for maintaining and feeding animals, private office spaces, two parking lots, sidewalks and street paving. The project required State of Georgia specified air quality controls for temperature, humidity, and air exchanges as well as coordination with the FAA to minimize disruptions to nearby Peachtree-Dekalb aiport. Services also included erosion and sediment control, grading, bioretention area, and stormwater pond.

The building serves as the centerpiece for the city’s developing downtown master plan and houses office space for the City Manager, City Clerk, Council, and a number of the city departments, Council Chambers to accommodate 186, 29 offices, conference rooms, a community room to accommodate 247 persons, outdoor balconies and multipurpose spaces for public and private use. Reeves Young was awarded this 22,000 SF, two-story building which will house a library on the first floor with adult, teen and children’s areas, 20 computer workstations, and a multipurpose room. The second floor will be operated by the city for co-working space, college classes and other public or educational uses.

Reeves Young was selected to manage the construction of this new, 40,000 SF performing arts and community center included a two-story lobby that acts as a separate event space or as a pre-function area complete with concession areas equipped with full-service catering kitchens. The 500seat auditorium/theater contains a complete control room for lighting and sound, as well as acoustical wall treatments. The stage contains full rigging for several setups, including an orchestra shell, and boasts an automatic floor lift system that is in place during non-orchestral performances but can be lowered to accommodate an orchestra pit. Also included is a separate black box theater with curtained walls and hardwood flooring to accommodate multiple types of events/performances. The center also features a multipurpose community room, classrooms, conference rooms, administrative offices, and dressing rooms.

Specialty learning spaces were included for anatomy/ dissection labs, patient care and early childhood labs, general classrooms, and TEAL classrooms, also included are three lecture halls, bookstore, and administrative offices.

This project was part of Georgia Institute of Technology’s on-going effort to improve the teaching and learning environments in their well-utilized instructional spaces. It included the renovation of a 4,500 SF auditorium on the first floor of the Instructional Center. Seating was replaced and reconfigured to meet current codes and the entrance was remodeled to increase capacity from 280 to 300 seats. Mechanical systems and lighting were also replaced, and fire suppression systems were extended into the auditorium.

This extraordinary adaptive reuse project of a historical 1925 hospital was transformed into the downtown campus and nursing school for the University of West Georgia. The existing structure included multiple renovations and additions complied over a period of 86 years. The 26,146 SF addition was completed first and tied into the existing building, requiring the removal of the building skin, spanning two levels, exposing the structure allowing for the buildings to be connected. The expanded facility includes a Dance Studio, Student Study Area, Game Room, Lounges, Bookstore, Conference Spaces, and Support Spaces. Additionally, the 11,354 SF renovation included a two-story Lobby, an expanded Dining Hall and new boiler. The ground floor of the existing space received full renovation while 80% of the second floor received interior renovation.

Reeves Young delivered this 54,000 SF, twostory Campus Student Center with Community Conference Center. The facility houses Student life offices, registration, meeting rooms, offices, a two-story glass atrium, 200-seat dining hall, kitchen and bookstore. A new plaza features redefined pedestrian walks, outdoor dining/gathering space and landscaping.
Reeves Young served as Construction Manager at Risk for the new construction of this 72,000 SF four-story county judicial facility. The new building consolidated the county judicial functions including the Juvenile Court, Probate Court, and Superior Court. The new facility also included the solicitor’s office, a sally port, holding cells, clerk of court’s office, judge’s chambers, jury assembly room, district attorney’s office, conference rooms, prosecutor’s office, and administrative offices.

The Beacon Municipal Court Complex is an adaptive re-use and new construction of a historic threebuilding city municipal complex. The project, totaling 84,377 SF, included a police and municipal court facility with courtroom, holding cells and 911 communications, an active living building with classrooms, a gymnasium, and a City of Decatur Schools Administration Building. The LEED Silver project also included the construction of a plaza to connect the three buildings. Three additional project scopes were added mid-project: re-routing a major artery of the city’s active storm sewer, building a two and one-half acre water retention vault below a soccer field to manage site flooding, and expanding and renovating an adjoining community pool.

This project for the DeKalb County Public Safety Department involved the interior renovation of two fivestory buildings totaling 250,000 SF. Both buildings were completely renovated including finishes, mechanical systems, and structural elements to accommodate the new headquarters for the county police and fire departments as well as the county 911 Center — the third largest in the country behind Los Angeles and Miami. The police headquarters houses the DeKalb Police precinct, holding cells, crime scene investigation unit, investigator offices, chief of police office, conference rooms, and training rooms. The sophisticated 20,000 SF 911 Center includes 42 call stations, three supervisor stations, an emergency management agency room, IT storage and repair, server room, and a training area. All areas were built utilizing the latest in communications and technology.
