SUMMER STREE
EETS | 8/13/2022
The summer streets event on August 13 was a great experience to meet people and build self confidence. Volunteers communicated with the general public in a largescale street shutdown. In my opinion it was an amazing event and I was able to see lots of amazing people try and make it to the end for personal gain. I believe that this event showcased how NYC as a whole bonded together to form a great event for everyone. - Alex Luo
FIVE BOROUGH A FUNDRAISER

This was most definitely one of the most fun events I have participated in this year. I enjoyed going on the rides and hanging out with my friends which made it feel like a normal hangout rather than a fundraiser. I also really enjoyed the view on the boardwalk during sunset. - Li

EETS | 8/20/2022
The Summer Streets event was a joyous experience for me. It made my day to be appreciated by the many people participating in the run. I am blithe to have been able to assist in the traffic control and the distribution of refreshments; the staff were also friendly and resourceful at assigning us tasks. All in all, despite the heat, I was able to socialize as well as motivate the runners.

BACK TO 8/20
The NYSoM Back to School Bonanza is an event where we, and other volunteers from different schools, helped set up stations and distribute school supplies for the kids attending the event. Of the many different stations, I was part of the face painting station where we painted animals or other pictures of the children’s choice for them. Despite the unbearable heat, our collaboration, teamwork, and hard work was what truly made it a fulfilling experience. I especially enjoyed the shaved ice that we got at the end. This is an event that should not be missed and I would be happy to go again. - Yi Lu Zheng
SCHOOL BONANZA /2022
NYSOM BACK TO SCH 8/27/
During the NYSoM back to school wonderland, I had a lot of fun! There were many others from different schools volunteering and helping out. This event was to hand out school supplies such as binders, notebooks, bags, glues and whatever else you could think of that might come handy to you during your time in school. Our school was stationed elsewhere where we interacted with the people more! We did temporary tattoos and face paint, which was really fun. Interacting with both kids and adults while also watching them smile have motivated us to do even better! I hope I get another chance to do and event like this in the future and definitely recommend this event to others!! Some people might think that Key Clubs are only about working and nothing else. But there is more to it that that. As we go to these events and help out, not only do we learn and get experiences, we make more connections and also have fun! Key Clubs are all about getting along with others. As such hope that more and more people are able to join us on this fun journey.

UPDATES FALL RALLY: - A regional training conference. - A multi-hour, one-day event filled with workshops, officer training, keynote speakers, and service. - The Fall Rally will take place on a weekend between October - November. KEY-LYMPICS: - An olympic style tournament, four-way DCM, and interdivisional fiesta on September 11. - All kinds of activities: tug-of-war, water balloon showdown, pie FOUR LTGs, and more! - It will be a picnic-like event (participants bring their own food)!
