COMPANY OVERVIEW As most of the pet fashion brands were most popular in European countries, we wanted our products to be widely available in the US market. We care about the environment and having eco-friendly garments is not only important for us but also to our pets. We saw a niche market for creating stylish pet clothing, and therefore WOOFYMEOW was born.

A clothing company for cats & dogs that is high-end, eco-friendly, and is up to date with all the latest fashions and trends.

QUALITY ASSURANCE Final inspection of the finished goods After complying with laws and regulations. Sourcers will start to put regular inspections including: a. Visual inspection of fabric b. Fabric and garment performance testing c. Final audits ·

The sourcer may require acceptable testing results and copies of all the

inspection or testing prior to shipment. ·

It’s the sourcers responsibility to safely produce the goods and make the finished

goods available to consumers in the sourcers country.


QUALITY ASSURANCE

Product quality regulations (before producing and importing goods to U.S) Durability Testing: • Our clothing will count with durability testing in order to ensure optimal quality to the consumer. Woofymeow takes pride in the high quality and durability of all the products. Lead Testing: All zippers, closures, trims, and snaps used in Woffymeow products will be tested, to comply with the accepted levels of lead in pet’s products. Pull Testing • The Consumer Product Safety Commission regulates drawstrings on outerwear for pets since this could result in strangling or choking. All our outerwear with drawstrings will count with sewn-in draw-strings so as to prevent pets pulling them out.


QUALITY ASSURANCE Flame Testing • Pet’s apparel is required, by law, to meet the standards of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement. Pet’s apparel must be tested for flammability.Textiles are classified into three overarching speeds of flammability (According to US Consumer Product's Safety Commission). •Five different fabric samples, measuring 2 inches by 6 inches, are tested for flammability and the times the samples take to burn are averaged out. •Class 1: Flame spread time of 3.5 seconds •Class 2: Flame spread time of 4 to 7 seconds (Target for products of the Woffymeow) •Class 3: Flame spread time fewer than 3.5 seconds


QUALITY ASSURANCE Crocking & Bleeding intended to test the rubbing off of the fabric's color when the material is subject to scratch. This must be performed when the fabric is both wet and dry. • Crocking: Excess dye rubs off when the garment is dry, dye physically rubs off • Bleeding: Excess dye rubs off when the garment is wet, dye transfers when the garment is in contact with a liquid. Durability Testing Scratch Resistance Measures (According to Abrasion Resistance of High-Performance Fabrics): • Loss of mass after a tear, loss of material strength after a tear, increase in air permeability after a tear, reduction of thickness in tear, appearance of the worn surface


QUALITY ASSURANCE Partner with Intertek for our textile testing needs to assure compliance with changing governmental safety regulations and to meet increasing consumer demand for high-quality textiles and apparel. They will provide: Eco Textile Testing – Intertek provides a comprehensive spectrum of Eco-Testing services targeting environmental protection and consumer health and safety. Eco-Testing includes: AP/APEOs Quick Test Banned Azo Colorants and Ozone Depleting Chemicals Heavy Metal, Pesticide Residues, and Fungicides, such as Dimethylfumarate Formaldehyde Content Eco-Textile Certification GB 18401 Testing

IMPORTING PROCESS

We plan to ship by truck from Mexicali, Baja California Mexico where our product is being manufactured to Atlanta, GA where our business will be located. According to Searates.com, it will cost around $246 to ship one large truck of apparel freight from Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico to Atlanta, Georgia. It will take about 2 weeks to arrive from shipment date.

CASH IN ADVANCE Since we do not have a history with this supplier, we are going to do Cash in Advance. We would pay the supplier once the goods are shipped to allow for some insurance. Although this could be a risky move for us, our manufacturer has a really good reputation and Mexico is a pretty stable country, we feel confident in this decision.
