Shelter
Shelter A igloo is made of ice or frozen water but they also have other homes made out of sod and whale bones and skin. The shape of a igloo is like a semicircle and a tipi is like a cone. They put animal skin and fire in their shelter to keep warm. They also sleep on the ground with animal skin. The inuit tribe made shelves to store stuff on like food and other stuff to. The people also made a makeshift stove to cook fish and other food. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shelter To make their homes they had to make it out of natural resources because they did not have bricks or concrete to build their homes. So they used ice for igloos and whale and walrus for their tipis. Also the whale and walrus skin keeped them warm to. As you might have thought there were a lot of predators to they had to make houses to keep them out so that is why they made the igloo with long passageways inside to the animals could not get in.
