Pueblo’s Location The Pueblo tribe originally lived in the Mesa Verde Region. The Pueblo is also called the Anasazi

(Ancestral Puebloans). The Pueblo’s Location is Southeast of Utah,

southwest of Colorado, Northwest of New Mexico, and Northeast of Arizona. They lived along the desert, mountains, and region full of grassland, close to rivers and streams. The Pueblo also goes through the top of Mexico. The tribe is the second smallest tribe in the United states.

Pueblo’s Shelter In the desert, they lived in adobes, with hot climate, as neighborhood. Their houses were made out of wood, stone, adobe, clay, and sand. The houses have flat roofs and can be one or more stories tall. Pueblo people have lived in this style of building for more than 1,000 years. These adobes were actually built under mountains and make it look like cubed sand houses under a big mountain of sand.
