Lakota’s location Chapter 1 Lakota’s location is in the great plains. The Lakota was by the great lakes.



There was a few trees and a lot of grass. They were in the states are North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, and Montana.


As the picture shows.

Also the location depends on the bison. They were a little bit in Kansas. As the picture shows.


The Lakota’s Shelter Chapter 2 I.

The tepee was a typical structure used as shelter for the lakota native americans.

The tepee was used to house important ceremonies and meetings.

The tepee was quickly and easily dismantled by the women to be transported to the next location

IV.

The tepee villagers were extremely well organized.

The materials used for the tepees were bison hides, long logs, and stones

In some of the tepees, there were beds made of bison hides.

The bottom of the tepee was with a fire-pit and side stones around the tepee.

Lakota’s diet Chapter 3 The Lakota’s diet is fish, corn, rice, and bison. They cook there food over a open fire outside.



They depend on everything on the bison. They flow the bison as a food sores.



. They even made their pots and pans to cook there food from a bison.

The lakota native americans used horses for transportation. The lakota native americans used horses during and after the 1730’s. The Spanish brought horses over to america in the 1730’s and the lakota began to use horses. Dogs and horses pulled a travois that they put there tepees and other people in. The lakota native americans always moved from place to place. The travois was a divice like a sled.
