Lake Tahoe has been a well-known

tourist destination for decades. Each region of the lake has something different and uni ue to offer. A large ortion o the tourism center is located on the Southeast shore o Lake Tahoe at Stateline, Ne ada. Stateline offers a ariety o attractions including casinos, hotels, sho ing, restaurants and access to the iconic ea enly Ski Resort. O er the ast years, significant redevelopment has taken place in this area.

The rede elo ment in this area came to li e with the construction o the ea enly Gondola in . This connected the in amous ea enly Ski Resort with the town o South Lake Tahoe. Soon a ter the ea enly Gondola was completed, the Heavenly Village and arriott Tim er Lodge ollowed suit. This area ecame a edestrian riendly illage where eo le could e erience arious restaurants, sho ing, as well as accommodations conveniently located ust ste s away rom the gondola. As a result, ea enly, a world renowned ski resort with reathtaking iews, now ecame instantly connected to the town o South Lake Tahoe.

As tourism continued to increase o er the years, so did the construction at Stateline. arious hotels and motels were remodeled, tenant improvement ro ects occurred, and a con ention center was conce tuali ed and roke ground in . owe er, in , the construction o the Chateau Con ention Center egan and as the economy came to a halt, so did tourism, and this ro ect and most construction in the Stateline area.

In the years ollowing , tourism egan to ick u , as did construction in this region. The Chateau Con ention Center com leted many store ronts and the ori on Casino trans ormed into the Hard Rock, a location where eo le can see an e tensi e collection o musical memora ilia. uring that same time rame, the dgewood Lodge was constructed. This is a lu ury lake ront hotel located adjacent to the Edgewood Gol Course and is where the well known Cele rity Gol Tournament is held each year. The alanta Resort located across from the Heavenly Village, known for its lu ury condominiums, was another ro ect com leted around this time.

The momentum o new construction and significant reno ations since has continued in the recent years. The Tahoe Beach Clu Clu house was com leted in uly and the first hase o the residential uildings were com leted in Fe ruary . The Tahoe Beach Clu is a rare lake ront residential community offering se eral amenities such as a clu house uilding with a year round ool, ri ate ier, and each.

Se eral other e citing construction ro ects are on track to reak ground in S ring o . These ro ects include the second hase o the Tahoe Beach Clu residential uildings as well as the Tahoe South ents Center. The Tahoe South ents Center will e a multi use s ace designed to host e ents such as concerts, conventions, and hockey games. The ents Center will ro ide year round acti ities to this area.
