The training in wisdom has 2 components: skillful view and skillful intentions. Skillful view was defined by the Buddha as understanding the 4 noble truths and understanding kamma (karma in Sanskrit). The Buddha refers not only to an intellectual understanding of the 4 noble truths, but a profound insight into and an experientially-based realization of the 4 noble truths. When that understanding is fully integrated into one‟s being awakening occurs.
