Branding Research Olav Weiken

Lane.

Olav Weiken is an online store which focuses on minimalistic and scandinavian fashion! The brand is based around it’s logo which is quite clearly modernist, very scandanavian, which reflects the fashion design.

The slight tewaking of the typeface, particularly on the letter ‘W’, adds a unique touch to the logo, which is instantly recognisable.

Lane.

The colour scheme is monochrome and I think this is approroate in reflecting the brand. It’s Clean, and helps showcase the clothes in a better way.

With a modern approach the website is built to be responsive to it’s media - always giving the viewer the best possible experience!

Branding Research Daisy

Lane.

Branding for a London based Fashion Jewelry shop called Daisy, completed by Two Times Elliot. This has a very feminine look, but also clean cut, and quite expensive.

the combination of black and white with accents of the blue throughout printed material, brings another dimension to the brand.

Lane.

The branding is applied across an extensive product range and various techniques ar eused to glorify quality. There is die cut cards to which the jewelry is attactched.

Lane.

Branding Research Favour

Lane.

Favour is the identity for a new fashion label aimed at women in their mid-thirties. I don’t nessacerily like the design of this, but then again, I’m not a woman in my mid thirties. I do however, appreciate the level of detail gone into the brand extension across an extensive product range succesfully.

Lane.

The stationary is really clean and comes across more high=end. I like the use of teh stamps and the brown enevelope stock, which is something i’ve already been looking at for my own branding.

Lane.

Brand applied to garments, fabric and labels as well as across web. All succesffully.

Lane.

Branding Research Ginger & Jagger

Lane.

Came across this branding for fashion label ‘Ginger & Jagger and really appreciated the tought and design gone into the branding itself. As the label is made from two peoples surnames, the shapes have been generated to represent the two different personalities, and overlaid as one.

Lane.

The shapes continue to develop and change throughout the brand and this is a key part to their image. I also really like the gold foiling, It adds a touch of class to the product.

Lane.

Branding Research Mamukko

Lane.

Mamukko is more of a street style fashion brand, but I love how the brand is executed across stationary. They again, use this brow paper coloured stock throuhgout, which, when placed next to the brigh blue, works really well!

Lane.

The way the finished products are photographed and the art direction gone into the shoot is also really key to the success of this brand.

Lane.

Branding Research Maeven

Lane.

Identity for Maeven (pronounced may-ven), a Brooklyn-based online shop with a collection of vintage and preowned designer clothing. Again, the colour scheme instantly stood out to me on this one. I love the combonation of the pinky red and the very pale green. Work beautifully together.

Lane.

The actual stationary and product range is interesting too. I really like the format of these, using folded card to create pockets that hold other printed collateral.

Lane.

Branding Research Odme

Lane.

Odme is the branding for a range of designer bags. Again, as the bags are directly aimed at women, the brand reflecs this in an elegant manner. White and black colour scheme works well again here, always looks classy and timeless, which is something i’ll be trying to acheive with the core branding.

Lane.

Heavilyy focussed on online sales, the brand is applied well across web creating an all rounf user experience, focussing on the primary white and black colours with hints of gold to reflect the product range.

Lane.

Branding Research Prada

Lane.

The Prada Brand is iconic, and I love how it is re-invented for every new catwalk show. These are some invites I come across for a Spring/Summer show. The gold and neon orange bring the brand up to date, whilst the core brand logo is timeless.

Lane.

The Prada Brand is applied to themes depending on the event or season, and is versatile like that.

Lane.

Branding Research Prada

Lane.

Calligraphy logo design for fashion designer Elena Shvetsova. This is obviously unique and relevant to this particular designer.I’m not a massive fan from a design point of view, but the rband is applied well across a range.

Lane.

Quite like these fabric labels, they work well within the garments themselves. These could be screen-printed onto any fabric that’s relevent.

Lane.

Also applied well across stationery, with a variety of stock choices and finishes.

Lane.

Branding Research Taurean

Lane.

A Simple executed logo and brand, with a consistant and stand-out colour scheme of navy, white with gold foiling accents.

Lane.

Colour Scheme is carried throughout, and most of the stationary is very clean cut with a proffesional edge. The Gold accents really make the brand.

Lane.

Branding Research Vera Wang

Lane.

More Perfume and High Street based, but I love the branding throughout this Vera Wang Campaign. The orange Spot colour really brings life to the calssic black and white colours and textures and embossing methods are used throughout to create tactility.

Lane.

Packaging is on point. The grey stone colour works well against the orange, and for the insert of the bag.
