Data Collection
The concept behind the name is that we are literally “typecasting” people through the use of handwriting and typography. “Type” obviously realtes to the subject and “cast” relates to making a mold from somthing else.
The Data Collection documents have been carefully designed to look proffesional, and part of an experiment. We used medial colours to reflect this and will use carbon copy paper to print these on, so that the person can write on one page, and it can fall through the paper and onto the grid for our analysis and personal use.
The colour scheme for the branding is various shades of green on white and other pale pastel colours. This is to replicate the colours found in medical forms such as prescriptions to create a visual style for the experiment.

Grids We have been working on a number of grids created from scratch, using a mixture of angled and straight lines along with different sized circles, to create the straight lines and curves of typographic letterforms.
