Hi all! Am pleased to present to you a new issue of our magazine. However, as the last issue, this one is also came late. There is two reasons for it. First one, is that some authors periodically make changes. And we, as you know are trying to please the authors ... But I think it was in the last time that we making changes in issue that already laid out. The second reason is that the ongoing technical problems isn't solved yet. You all know that this project is not commercial, so we do not have the financial ability to completely fix the technical problems. So, we would welcome any donations to help us update some basic components. In addition we want to thank everyone who wrote to us, authors and readers. Your letters are necessary to us. We thank those who post links to our magazine in its online resources. We thank the authors who send their works.
I hope that this number will only positive emotions. Cover:

Thank you all. With the best wishes Ed Safin (Norway) 3.2012
Creativity. What's in us humans so special that distinguishes us from the animal world? Emotions? They have them too. The ability to speak? Animals also have their own language. Even you can, if you want, to teach a monkey sign language and communicate with "Human." Animals as well as people have feelings and they know how to love. Creativity? Perhaps this is what makes us different: the ability to create and to enjoy the fruits of our and others creations.
And we do not feel alone, because then we in a relationship with the Creator, the creation, the universe - called it however you want it - the relationship is very close.Cause the inspiration we taking is from this inexhaustible source. A source that could be in a different name - Love. That's why we are happy when we create.

And after all this ability is in everyone, it's only need to be nourished And not be afraid. Not be afraid to paint, write, sing, dance, taking photos, installations, various kinds of design. Sewing, knitting, playing a musical instrument, write music, poetry, conjuring over cooking, and many, many things. Do not be afraid, because the process of creation brings joy, because then we distracted from everyday cares of worldly vanity. We aspire inward, where we come in contact with the spirit world. Our soul is freed up and takes off. Whatever is happening in our lives when we create - we are free.
And one more thing - for each of our creation, there is at least one soul (it is, of course, by the very minimum), which is going to like what we created, it will bring pleasure, joy, warm, help in a difficult period of life, or inspire, or have thoughts about something, that this person never did not think ever. We create for ourselves and for each other. Creativity - an ability that distinguishes us from our animals brothers and sisters. It is a way of selfknowledge, a way of communicating with each other, with the world and the mysterious source, which we usually call God, and of which we are a part. Inspiration to all of us :) Svetlana Safin

THE VIRGIN OF THE FLYING HEARTS Who do commend themselves to those who say not believing in anything anymore but who can’t stop their blood from boiling? The Virgin of the Flying Hearts watches over the dreamers, over those who have a passion they work for, over those who fall in love and those who act, compare with those (CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine
It’s her who fuels and lends them wings, who inspires them. To those with open eyes and ready hands it’s impossible not to be seduced by hervoluptuousness: She is the creator of everything new and every good thing. She is the one who gives birth to our best self. That’s why they pay homage to her by working restlessly to reach her, that’s why she rules their dreams.
3.2012
But passion it’s demanding and can also be ruthless. It demands a high price, and to that who abandons entirely oneself in her arms can be self-destructive. Her face it’s the most beautiful one that one can behold and also that of Catrina: Death herself. To listen to her it’s dangerous but ignoring her it’s even worse. Whoever who turns his back to her may discover one day that he’s a living dead. The only thing left for us human beings is to play the game.

I was born in 1987 in Oporto, Portugal. Since i was young, all that seemed different visualy or musically always fascinated me, i was addicted to some heavy bands and their outrageous music videos, all the concepts behind their image were an inspiration all of my life. I've started to express myself drawing and writing, but with the passage of time i've found in photography a whole new world of creation and exploration. I've studied photography during a Digital Graphic Production course, it was just a few hours of apprentice, but soon i discovered that it was what i wanted to do at the time and learn more and more about it. So i entered the Professional Photography Course at the Photography Portuguese Institute (Instituto PortuguĂŞs de Fotografia), to develop my knowlege so i could do more and better professionaly. From that moment on, i've been making some personal projects around various subjects and some promotional fashion stuff for brands.

Originally from Russia, where I've earned my bachelor degree in economic and finance but I never felt myself around friends or people in my school. I had to do something different,I had to move to another city and try to find myself. I moved to San Francisco in 2009, where I picked up a camera and got into The Academy Of Art. I chose photography to expand my dreams,my thoughts, my world. I would love to show through my images what I would have painted if I could so. I'm inspired by my culture, by toughness that outside and softness that inside, by the people around me now that have given me confidence to believe in myself.

THE ANGEL TOOK HER…
“Lunch is ready, Cathy.” Catherine’s mother Mrs. Marshall called out her kinder garden girl, she was playing in her room. She never liked her parents or her older brother to peek in when she plays. She preferred playing alone with her toys in her room.
(CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine
Her mother opened the door and saw Cathy was sitting on the window sill with a Barbie doll in her hand. She was talking and abruptly stopped when she sensed her mother’s presence. Her mother frowned, for a moment she felt she saw two kids an another look she saw a halo over her child’s head. “Cathy?” Mrs. Marshall called her again. “Coming mama.” The cheerful brown haired girl said. She held on her mother’s long recently manicured fingers. Cathy’s mother jerked. She felt as though someone pushed a hot syringe on her fingers where Catherine held on. Cathy still caressing her doll with other hand dint seems to be noticing anything amiss. Jerome came running with his football through kitchen door. He skidded and the ball slipped from his hand. He was quite perplexed to see his little sister holding the ball in her dainty fingers. “You are late. I have told you many a times don’t run in the home. You may get hurt” Mrs. Marshall said. “I’m sorry.” Jerome said still not taking his eyes off from his sister. Jerome liked his sister before she began to show changes in her behavior. She spoke perfect language. She could run in speed which was not usual with the kids of her age. She slept alone in her room at night but when Jerome was of her age he made his mother sleep beside him at least till he was asleep. She was exception. She is jovial funny yet something extra ordinary.
and
3.2012
It was a summer day. The sun shone in the sky bright and gold. The breeze was warm and burned everything which came in its way. Cathy and Jerome were upstairs playing and their parents had a visitor Mr. and Mrs. Gregory, they came to Marshall’s family for every small reason. They arrived at quarter to 3.00 in the afternoon and left Marshall Family exhausted with the on going talks. “Look, jerry.” Cathy called her brother. He was busy playing on his video game. She was standing in front of the mirror and was trying out different dresses of her mother’s old tops. This was usual of her part; she did this and always showed his brother and asked how she looked. What surprised him was the reflection of her in the mirror. He could see another person in the mirror with the halo. He raced down to tell his parents what he found about his sister. His father of course dint believed a word but his mother had a doubt. She made Cathy to show her outfits on the mirror but they couldn’t find any absurd vision. The next morning, when Mrs. Marshall went to wake her daughter she found a blue mark on her ankle. She couldn’t find the source and it was spreading. For doctors, the ankles looked spot less and healthy. But it had spread on her tiny foot; it was glittering blue as though it had no blood circulation.
(CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine
3.2012
It was dinner time and all the family members were used to the visiting angel with halo. The angel dint talk to anybody just smile was the answer for all the questions. More and more days past; she looked like the angel but she dint have wings or halo. “The time has come” the first words spoken by the angel was so childish but mesmerizing. Cathy and the angel stood holding hands and was about to depart. Cathy’s eyes were filled with tears; her parents could have stopped her from going. “Please, don’t go. I…” “No, let her go. She belongs to them. She will forget us” Mr. Marshall said. Catherine departed, disappeared never to be seen again. ANNETTE RAJU

I am a photography student and this is what I want to be doing all my life, I think. I lived in Poland for 14 years and photography was always around me as my grandpa had his own dark room in the bathroom. Whilst exploring my parents house and my granny’s flat I was fining albums, photographs, family members which I never heard of before. And I think this got me thinking about how important photography is and that I want to be the one recording the life around me. I never had my own camera, but two years ago my parents realised I am doing Photography for real and they finally got me affordable DSLR which I still use, but with my own new lens. I also fall in love with film photography a year ago when I started my first year at uni, colour film and medium format camera – Hasselblad – that makes me happy now. Currently I am working on my own little projects, which really are my poor way of trying to get the ideas out of my head as there is too many of them. I do a bit of everything with my images still trying to find my main root, but I guess that will come with more ‘life’ experience.

My real name is Michaela Haider, but it’s rather hard to pronounce in English, so I chose a different name as an artist. I was born in Austria in 1996. I started photography as a hobby in 2011. Since then I've developed my skills, from shooting flowers over simple portraits to creating art with photography, and my images are now often very surreal. I'm fascinated by otherworldly themes and try to capture that with my art.

I am an artist living and working in Northern Virginia. I have been creating art since I was little and quit my day job to become a full time working artist in 2002. Although trained as a painter I love working with all kinds of media including wax, collage, found images, photography and digital art software. My studio is my playground and my art is about experimenting and having fun. Enjoy!

Spain
She was born in 1980. She studied Art in Paris, then she moved to Spain to continue her studies and lived for 10 years in Granada where she painted most of her work . She moved to Madrid, where she lives actually. Her work is quite ecclectic. Using different techniques, from traditional, acrylic, watercolors .. on canvas (in most of her pictures) to digital.

Albyky
Her painting are more geared to figurative painting and illustration where color plays an important role.

Her work has always been influenced by artists that have fascinated her as Klimt, Hundertwasser, Sergio Toppi and many more

"It is difficult to write about Albyky and her work, so much that even she doesn´t dare. A climbing plant that grows from her ankle, separated her from the outside world. She watered the vine to be isolated in its delicacy, in its mystery, in its labyrinths. Inside all this, she paints. In the complex and beautiful world into a vine, seen by her." (CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine: Hi Albyky! Tell us briefly about yourself.
Albyky: I was born in 1980 in France. I studied Art in Paris, then I moved to Spain to continue my studies and lived for 10 years in Granada where i painted most of my work . I moved to Madrid one year ago, where i live actually. (CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine: How long have you been doing art?
Albyky: I started painting in adolescence as a need to express myself, to escape from the reality and created my own world. My first drawings were very inspired by the comic. (CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine: Is your vision of how you are, coming from the childhood?
Albyky: I think I've always been a little distracted, dispersed and introvert since my childhood. I can hardly express my feelings and finish my sentences. A vision of myself? This question is really difficult to me. I came into this world with an instruction manual I'm simple and complicated at the same time, I am great and small, transparent and mysterious, Stubborn, obstinate and unmotivated. Why make it simple if you can make it complicated?

Type to enter text (CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine: Where are you getting inspiration?
Albyky: As I said before, in the beginning I was very inspired by the world of comics, Then as time went on, painting was a way for me to travel within myself and understand me better so my inspiration revolved around myself, my surroundings, what I was experiencing, and my moods. My dreams.... Hence my work is quite personnel and oneiric. (CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine: What music, giving you inspiration? name your favorites.
Albyky: Music; Chinese Man, DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, Fat Freddy's Drop, Bonono, General electriks, Gramatik, Caravan palace, Boozoo bajou, books, Sandman of Neil Gaiman, Little nemo in suberland of Winsor McCay, Thousand and One Nights of Segio Toppi, movies; Tekkonkinkreet, I love all the films of Hayao miyazaki (Nausicaä, Princesse MononokÊ....), The Immortal of Enki Bilal (CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine: Do you have a goal, and so that is it?
Albyky: I would like to be known, take a chance and a small place in the world of art, paint tables and illustrations, be publicated and be able to sale my work. I want to dedicate myself to draw and paint, living at it, make a living (CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine

(CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine: How do
you feel about technology and new methods that are available today for creating some artistic production? Albyky: I really feel outdated. I find fantastic and fascinating results that can be obtained with the new technologies. I think today is almost essential into employment as an illustrator, cartoonist. Today even the comics, everything is digital, the stroke, the colored... personally I like to paint on paper, canvas, wood, and see the result in a support first not the other way (first screen, then printed), I like fight with the brush, fight with the pulse, fight with the stroke, abstract me and finally stop time. I supose than you can feel the same if you are doing a digital painting but it will be imposible for exemple to see how the color is diluted and mixed with another, this is what fascinates me. The traditional painting has more value to me for all these reasons and because after all there is an original. but I think it is better to know using digital drawing programs, this is another tool, i don't discard buy me a graphics tablet one day. (CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine: What would advise to the beginners?
Albyky: I can not recommend much because I consider myself as a beginner. I still have much to learn. But I can say the same thing I always said to me, draw, paint everyday practice all you can, try many differents techniques and tools, try to dominate them and finally find your own technique and style that defines you. And of course, creativity and imagination, originality and authenticity. http://www.albyky.com http://albykyta.blogspot.com.es/ http://albyky.tumblr.com/ http://www.behance.net/albyky (CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine

Around the edges, where the Me I know reaches for where the You begins The edges, that始s where the line starts and for many, where the journey ends
Around the Edges
The rough places that exposes malice, only deters those out for blood
(CIRKUMFLEKS)Magazine
Head for high land because this place is arid, but it始s time to send a flood It始s an defense that only the rejected, defeated, and unfit find offensive If you come with an agenda to overthrow the queen, you should be apprehensive But you, you got through unscathed, with your armor on but without weapons drawn I set everyone to the test, so I left you out for the night and kept watch until dawn The others linger around the edges hoping to find vulnerability, but are easily demolished

Around the Edges
But that tactic was no match for your genuine motives, so you came through polished You simply knocked on the door, showed your face and shocked me with your honesty With every word was almost a tangible sincerity and an abundance of modesty Iʼm always armed and ready to fight because Iʼve been doing it for so long But maybe this hunger to always be right, to be ruler, is something I got all wrong Truly Iʼd much rather melt into your being so my edges become your core So my edges no longer exist. So weʼre an Us and Iʼm not a Me anymore
All I Ask Donʼt take everything just because Iʼll give you all I have Donʼt push me just because I said I wonʼt budge Donʼt leave me behind just because Iʼll always be here Donʼt rush me just because Iʼm impatient Donʼt lead me into darkness just because Iʼll follow you anywhere Donʼt betray me just because Iʼll tell you all my secrets Donʼt wish death on me just because Iʼd die for you Donʼt call me selfish just because I like to get what I give Donʼt take your way just because I said Iʼd compromise That is all I ask… my first, my last, and my only plea With all the love I have
