In-person courses will take place on SAIC’s campus, giving you access to a vast array of creative resources, as well as face-to-face learning experiences with faculty members and fellow students. All in-person courses will follow health and safety guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Chicago Department of Public Health to ensure proper social distancing. Please note, all Continuing Studies students who intend to be on campus for any period of time will be required to be up to date with COVID-19 vaccines. Visit saic.edu/csvaccine for more information. “Michael Barlow is an excellent instructor and covered a wide variety of topics related to drawing without being overwhelming for new or recently re-engaged drawing students. I felt as if I not only got a solid foundation for beginning drawing, but learned much more than I thought I would. He also opened my eyes to new ways of observing the everyday and how that vision can translate to drawing/art.”
