Vaccines in India & Impact ▪ Covaxin, India's first COVID-19 vaccine candidate has sought the drug regulator's approval to start the largescale phase III clinical trial in the country.

▪ The Drugs Controller General of India asked the vaccine maker Bharat Biotech to submit "complete safety and immunogenicity data of the phase II trial" and some clarifications before proceeding for the next stage. www.add15years.com www.add15years.in

The next phase of the Covid-19 vaccination drive for citizens above 45 years of age will start tomorrow, 1 April 2021. Eligible citizens can book their slot either online or offline.

The central government had announced that citizens who are eligible for the vaccine can register via the Co-WIN portal or Aarogya Setu app.
