Salesian College Preparatory offers a robust domestic and international travel program.
The travel program challenges students beyond the traditional classroom experience in their development of becoming global citizens. Salesian’s travel program complements the academic and religious course offerings by focusing on travel to colleges and universities as well as countries like Spain, France, Québec, Morocco, and Italy.
Since 2016, Salesian has partnered with its French-speaking sister school, Le Salésien, in Québec, Canada, offering a twin visit program. This long standing, international relationship is pivotal to Salesian’s four-year French program and offers students an affordable, cultural immersion experience.
Immersion trips to Europe like Italy, focus on several Roman Catholic pilgrimage sites and regional cuisines. Spain and Morocco are the sites of capstone trips, focusing on the artistic and architectural marvels of the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa. For the French program, the experience includes a deep dive into Paris, where students meet local artmakers and college students while learning to cook à la française and explore the many cultural histories of the City of Light.
Salesian College Preparatory strongly believes learning does not end in the classroom but is meant to continue in the world at large, whether throughout the United States or abroad. Salesian offers students the opportunity to become culturally competent and immerse themselves in learning experiences, worldwide.
