Interfaces for students workplaces, fault circuits, PC (option) This education stand is specially developed for learning the function and fault maintenance at the approved antilock brake system (ABS) and it´s extensions (ASR, EDS, EBV, MSR and ESP). Additional the stand contains a special interface for making connections to other education stands. In this combination it is possible to show and teach the different types of automotive wiring in automotive systems. An easy operation and pedagogic use were the topics in developing this system. The education stand is completely equipped with original components. Because of this, the function and effect of the single system parts can be reproduced originally. The dynamic start-up and brake behaviour of the car and the task of a differential gear is showable with this education stand, too.
Friction values can be set continuous for each wheel. It is possible to change this settings quick and easy in each operation mode or experiment. Therefore it is possible to get and see associated reactions of the system. Via fix built-in displays, the changes of wheel speeds and brake pressures can be seen. The optional interface for fault circuits, PC measuring and student workplaces enlarge the possibilities of the stand.
