An English arrival – Bolney Wine Estate, Bolney Bubbly. £28.00 Start with something local and light. This wine f rom the Bolney Wine Estate, Sussex, hosts some delightful floral and brioche notes combined with zesty citrus f ruit, honeysuckle and elderflower. It is a delicate and well-balanced English sparkling wine, f inishing with a soft, f resh hint of sweetness. Your palette can expect to be greeted by f resh, f ruity flavours, including picked garden apples, herbaceous, star f ruit, mint and more!

A pink celebration – Champagne Brut Rosé Marie Copinet, Montgenost, France. £32.00

A royal toast – Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill 2012 Champagne. £195.00

A beautiful, light and f resh Champagne rosé, perfect as an apéritif, before the wedding breakfast or after the meal during the speeches. The rosé colour is reminiscent of rose petals and the overall appearance is f resh and alive. Exciting aromas of pink grapef ruit, strawberries, violet and marshmallow. Lively and f ruity yet delicate on the palate.

An impressive red – Demuerte Classic 2018, Winery On, Yecla, Spain. £22.00 Tantalise your tastebuds and impress your guests with this fantastic red f rom Spain. An elegant blend of Monastrell and Syrah grapes, ripe and fruity flavours. A full-bodied wine with well-integrated tannins and delivering cherry, spicy and vanilla notes. Smooth and velvety on the palate with a pleasant and rich f inish. Pair with a red meat or nutty main course.

From this drop, you can expect powerful aromatics, a blend of tropical notes of rich, zesty lemon sherbet, along with a distinct pineapple flavour. The main attraction – Edouard Delaunay 'Septembre' Pinot Noir 2018/19, Burgundy. £17.99 This rich, beautiful Pinot Noir is made mainly f rom grapes f rom Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. Complex and f resh with with flavours of raspberry, blackcurrant and cherry. The perfect red if you have duck on the menu.

Something to savour – Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2020/21, Marlborough. £30.00 A special occasion calls for a groundbreaking sauvignon blanc – Cloudy Bay, one of New Zealand's most celebrated wines and a real benchmark for quality. Remarkably, it will develop with age over the next f ive years, so keep a bottle for anniversary celebrations. This wine is complex and layered with notes of ripe lemon, lime, passionf ruit, peach and f reshly cut grass. Perfect for a f ish starter or main course.

Something sweet – Araldica Moscato d'Asti 2020/21. £8.99 Moscato is one of the few grapes that actually tastes of grapes once it is made into wine. This delightful, light and fresh wine is perfect to end the meal on and pair with a rich, creamy dessert or, of course, a slice of cake.
