Spread Kindness
If those two days weren’t enough, Random Acts of Kindness Day (RAOKD) will take place on 17 February. What a week! This day was started by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation as a way to encourage people to spread kindness at home, school, work or in their community. Write a letter to someone telling them how great they are.
There are loads of ways to share kindness this RAOKD. Here are some ideas to get you started…
Paint some rocks with positive messages and leave them in places for others to nd.
Pick up litter in your local park or high street to make it cleaner for everyone to enjoy.
Make a sandwich for your sibling. Make your parents or carers a drink.
Donate to a food bank or give old toys and clothes to a charity shop.
Create some bookmarks with kind messages and hide them in books at the library for others to
Bake cupcakes to drop off at your local re station or hospital.
Get together with your Sunday school friends or classmates and make pictures to give to residents of an elderly care home. Or ask your leaders or teachers if you can arrange a visit to a care home to talk to residents.
Make a special effort not to leave lights on or water running to be kind to the planet. Ask someone new to sit with you at lunchtime at school.
Cook a meal with your parents or carers to deliver to someone else.
Tell someone a joke to make them smile.
