et ready for an action-packed, all-star, rainbow-coloured family reunion in Trolls Band Together! Of course, just like in previous Trolls films, there are plenty of toe-tapping tunes too. After two films of true friendship, Poppy and Branch are now officially a couple – finally! As the pair get closer, Poppy discovers that Branch has a secret past. He was once part of her favourite boyband, BroZone, with his four brothers, Floyd, John Dory, Spruce and Clay. BroZone split up when Branch was still a baby and Branch hasn’t seen his family since. However, the situation changes when Branch’s brother Floyd is kidnapped for his musical talents by a pair of pop star villains called Velvet and Veneer. Now Branch and Poppy must begin an emotional journey to reunite the brothers and rescue Floyd from a fate that’s worse than being forgotten by the pop star world!

‘Trolls Band Together’ is in cinemas now!
How would you react if you discovered you have a long-lost sibling? In Trolls Band Together, Branch is typically grumpy when his brother, John Dory, rocks up. However, when Poppy discovers her long-lost sister, she’s positively overjoyed. In the parable of the prodigal son from the Bible (check out Luke 15:11–32), the youngest son asks his dad for his inheritance early. His dad gives him what he asks for then the son takes off and wastes everything he’s been given. When the son goes home, his older brother is really grumpy, whereas his dad is positively overjoyed. When one of God’s children chooses to love him and live life Jesus’ way, he does a Poppy and celebrates his child’s return. Do you need to make a decision to follow Jesus? It’ll be the best decision you’ll ever make and there’ll be a party in Heaven if you do!

READ THE COMMENT BELOW ABOUT FILLING YOUR HEART AND MIND WITH THINGS THAT ARE GOOD
Fill Yourself with Good Stuff says Justin Reeves
H
ave you ever heard the phrase ‘garbage in, garbage out’? Way back when computers were new, they didn’t always work in the way people expected. Some of the stuff they turned out wasn’t very good and that caused some people to say that computers were rubbish. The truth is people told computers to do the wrong things in the first place, and that’s what caused the problem. Garbage went into the computers, so garbage came out of them. That’s kind of what this week’s Bible cartoon is all about. You see, sometimes people aren’t so different to computers. If they fill themselves up with rubbish, rubbish comes out of them. To put it another way – if they’re not filled with good stuff,
good stuff won’t come out of them. As you can see from the cartoon, the religious leaders would get wound up over rules – in this case they were getting in a tizz over rules about what people ate. However, Jesus made it clear that people should be less concerned about what filled their tummies and focus on what goes into their minds and souls. If you fill yourself with good stuff – by reading the Bible; spending time with Jesus by talking to him in prayer; learning from other Christians; and being careful about other stuff you read and watch – good stuff will come out of you through your words and actions. Good in, good out!
Positively Thinking Fill this space with good words and actions that will help people see you’re a follower of Jesus and encourage them to follow him too

Soyuz 1
The cosmos or universe is so enormous and stupendous it’s mind-boggling! Satue of Here are some facts about space that are … well, cosmic! Colonel Vladimir
Soyuz 1 So far, That’s Cosmic! has featured mainly successful space missions, but at times not every launch has gone to plan. On 23 April 1967 Soyuz 1 was launched by the Soviet Union to test the spacecraft in different flight conditions. Colonel Vladimir Komarov was the cosmonaut onboard completing 18 orbits (laps around) of Earth.
Komarov
Specialist engineers found around 200 design faults with Soyuz 1 before its launch, but the leaders of the Soviet Union’s space department pushed for the launch to go ahead. When returning to Earth, Soyuz 1’s parachute failed to open, causing the capsule to crash and Colonel Vladimir Komarov died. This was the first death that happened while a spacecraft was in flight. In Moscow there is a statue of Colonel Vladimir Komarov that was erected in his memory.

The Wildlife Trusts’ Big Wild Walk Are you up for a big outdoor adventure between now and the end of October? The Big Wild Walk is The Wildlife Trusts’ annual fundraising challenge. It’s taking place between 16 and 30 October. Perfect timing for exploring some autumnal nature near you, especially if you have half term holidays!
Nature Needs Help Our natural world is in trouble. Wildlife is disappearing far too quickly and climate change is a big worry. By taking part in campaigns such as The Big Walk, you can raise money to help The Wildlife Trusts’ protect our natural world.
The Wildlife Trusts want at least 30 per cent of our land and sea to be connected and protected by 2030 for nature’s recovery. Making more space for nature means struggling wildlife will have the opportunity to recover. More wild places also help tackle the climate crisis. Win, win!
How Does it Work? The Big Wild Walk challenge is simple to take part in.
Step One
Step Two
Get your parents or carers to sign you up at wildlifetrusts.org/bigwildwalk
Set your own challenge to run, cycle, walk, skate or scoot while fundraising for the wildlife you love. How far you go and where you take part is also completely up to you.
Step Three
Ask your parents or carers to set up a fundraising page for you and share it with friends and family. Let them know why you’re raising money for wildlife and why it means so much to you. Every pound raised will help create a wilder future and if you can raise £30 you’ll also receive a Big Wild Walk pin badge.
12
Step Four Go wild! Get out there and complete your challenge!
Some Wild Ideas If you’re struggling to think of a challenge, here are some ideas to hopefully inspire you. Remember, you can complete your challenge over a day, a week or even two weeks. You can also team up with friends or family to split the distance between you. Whatever works for you.
Walk 30 kilometres over a week Swim 30 laps of a pool Cycle 30 minutes everyday for a week
The Hedgehog Walk You can even take part as a family. For younger children there’s a special Hedgehog Walk that’s perfect for little legs! Fundraise alongside Timmy Time and download fun activity sheets to make exploring even more fun. For little ones, the Hedgehog Walk organisers suggest walking a distance of three kilometres in a week. That’s the same distance a hedgehog travels each night. However, fundraisers can set whatever target works for them. Check out wildlifewatch.org.uk/timmy-time-zone for more information.
Find out more about The Wildlife Trust Big Wild Walk and how you can take part at wildlifetrusts.org/bigwildwalk
If you can’t take part in the Big Wild Walk before the end of October, don’t worry. Getting out and about in nature is always a good idea, so set yourself a challenge to complete anytime that works for you.
