Fans of Sonic the Hedgehog are going to be pretty excited this week, because there’s a brand new season of Sonic Prime racing on to screens next week! If you haven’t seen the rst season, let us ll you in.
In Sonic Prime the action-packed adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog go into overdrive when a run-in with Dr Eggman results in a universe-shattering event! Sonic ends up in an alternative world that looks familiar, but is called New Yoke City. Desperate to piece his old life back together, Sonic races through the Shatterverse, discovering strange worlds and meeting new friends.
In the new season, Sonic is reunited with Shadow, and Shadow has bad news. Green Hill is gone and Shadow blames Sonic. There’s only one way to x this – the two hedgehog rivals must work together! Can they do it?
Season two of ‘Sonic Prime’ arrives on Netflix on 13 July. The first season is available to watch on Netflix now.
‘Sonic Prime’ is rated PG on Netflix. This means it’s suggested that parents or carers make sure it’s suitable for their children.
Whether it’s the Marvel Multiverse or the multiverse that Sonic fnds himself travelling across, lots of us are used to the ideas of parallel universes and alternative realities. For some reason, they all seem to result in superpowered bad guys who want to rule everything.
Thankfully, there’s only one reality and one universe – the one we’re part of. And there’s only one true superpower and there’s nothing bad about him. God is nothing but good and Genesis reminds us that when he created our one and only universe, God looked at it and said, ‘It’s good!’
Some people might tell you that God’s a distant being who doesn’t care about you. Well, I see, feel and hear God at work every day and in all sorts of ways. Your superpowered God created you just where and how he wants you to be, and he’s right with you here, now and always.
