5 FOODS THAT CAN CAUSE HEARTBURN

Heart burn is not at all related with heart it is just a burning sensation in the lower chest caused by stomach acid and followed by bitter taste in throat and mouth. If heartburn is your problem avoid these triggering food and drinks. CITRUS FRUITS  Citrus fruits such as orange, lemons are of acidic in nature and known to increase incidences of heartburn. GARLIC  Garlic is good for heart as reduce the blood pressure but it can be the reason for heart burn.  Garlic and other root vegetables like onions, radishes can increase gastric acidity. Slow downs the emptying of the stomach, lead to acid reflux. CHOCOLATE  Chocolate is high in fat, cocoa and caffeine and all three can cause acid reflux so chocolate lovers stay away from it if you facing heart burn. CAFFEINE


 A cup of coffee or espresso a day is fine, but people who drink coffee all day long are courting reflux so avoid drinking more than 2 cup of a day. FRIED FOODS  As compare to boiled or steamed food fried food takes a longer time to digest in stomach and can cause acid reflux. A number of these foods are not triggers for some people. So it’s better to keep a track of what you eat to identify the right foods to be avoided to eat.
