We all have the habit of reheating the cooked food multiple times instead of making a fresh meal, but sometimes reheating of the foods may change their composition and the laziness may prove dangerous for the health! RICE Reheating rice will not make a person sick but improper storing can make as leaving it out at room temperature for longer than an hour. It allows the rice to grow potentially dangerous bacteria that can cause vomiting and diarrhea. SPINACH Eating re-heated spinach can cause cancer. Spinach contains nitrate, which converts into nitrites that can potentially cause cancer. So it’s better to eat spinach right away after cooking. EGGS Reheating eggs at high temperatures after they’ve been boiled or fried can make them toxic and result in problems with the digestive tract. Eggs are rich in proteins and these proteins denature upon reheating and thus become toxic.
