5 Foods you should never reheat

We all have the habit of reheating the cooked food multiple times instead of making a fresh meal, but sometimes reheating of the foods may change their composition and the laziness may prove dangerous for the health! Never reheat these foods as these become toxic as well as cause of many unknown diseases. RICE  Reheating rice will not make a person sick but improper storing can make as leaving it out at room temperature for longer than an hour.  It allows the rice to grow potentially dangerous bacteria that can cause vomiting and diarrhea. SPINACH  Eating re-heated spinach can cause cancer. Spinach contains nitrate, which converts into nitrites that can potentially cause cancer.  So it’s better to eat spinach right away after cooking. EGGS  Reheating eggs at high temperatures after they’ve been boiled or fried can make them toxic and result in problems with the digestive tract.  Eggs are rich in proteins and these proteins denature upon reheating and thus become toxic.


POTATO  Reheating potatoes can lead to loss of their dietary and health benefits.  Potatoes are rich in carbohydrates and heat sensitive vitamins like B complex and C, so the reheating causes a decrease in the level of vitamins.  It can even cause nausea, illness or food poisoning. CHICKEN  Chicken contains proteins that react negatively when reheated.  When cold chicken is reheated these proteins denature and become unhealthy. So avoid reheating these foods until and unless you want to stay away from work and stay with the bad stomach.
