Ways to de-stress your eyes at work place

Continuous staring on computer screen makes our eyes scream for relief but as most of us are so engrossed in our work, we pay no attention to the scream that leads to tired eyes, spectacles as well as the work stress. So here are some quick ways to deal with the tired eyes:  Be sure to wash the hands before touching the eyes.  Keep a distance of at least 50-60cm between your eyes and the computer screen.  There should be adequate light in the room.  Rub your palms till they get warm and then place them on eyes for sometime.  Drinking plenty of water as it hydrates the eyes and keeps them moist. Blink  Blink your eyes after every 5-10 seconds.  Blinking helps in moisten the eyes. Take it off from screen  After every 20-30 minutes take the eyes off from that screen.  It will help in preventing dry eyes, headaches and blurry vision. Move eyeballs  Roll the eyes clockwise and anti clockwise direction 7- 10 times a day. Keep taking breaks


 Spending longer hours in an air-conditioned room tend to dry up eyes, so step out and take a break. Change the view  Look outside and absorb the greenery outside the window in every few hours to take a break from the harmful rays of the computer screen. Concentrate on an object  Focus on a distant object (50 m away) for 10-15 seconds.  Slowly refocus on a nearby object (10 m away) without moving the head.  Again focus for 10-15 seconds and go back to the distant object.
