Working closely with its partner mac birmingham in its state-of-the-art venue, Sampad commissions, sponsors and co-produces an astonishing array of arts activities, designed to meet the emerging needs and aspirations of existing and new generations in Birmingham and beyond. Sampad remains a vital component of the national strategy for a modern Britain that lives and grows through its cultural diversity.

As Arts Champions for Northfield, Sampad delivered a lively programme of free family-friendly arts activities for local residents of all ages.
In a time of significant cultural and socio-economic change, we will continue to convert challenges into opportunities, channelling our creative energies into providing new and exciting opportunities for a range of communities, both South Asian and non-South Asian and building on our pioneering activities relating to the use of digital technology and professional development for arts practitioners, young people and cultural leaders. As always, my continuing gratitude goes to the staff team, Board and supporters of Sampad for their tremendous contribution.
