Design Publication - Methodology Brief - You will be required to undertake a period of focused, in-depth and sustained research in to an area of graphic design appropriate to your design strategy. You should apply a range of research methods in the investigation of issues, practices, practitioners and companies relating to your own particular area of study. This should culminate in the design and production of a case study in the form of a book (or printed media), Interactive DVD or website. Response - The methodology of this publication derives from the research method of interviews. The interview process is a long and sometimes challenging process. However when used accordingly can greatly define, or refine a graphic design project. Concept - The concept behind the publication is to show a step by step break down of the interview process and how it can be applied to design work effectively. The book looks at the different forms of interviews and what an interview actually is. The second section of the book shows an in depth case study of the methodology applied to a specific interview process.

Research -
The research stage involved researching in to different publication formats. The research for the content of the publication was self derived and primary. Report books and annual reports were the main inspiration behind the informative and clinical design of the final publication

The final publication is in 2 sections, the first section is an overview of interviews, what an interview is, different interviews and interviews undertaken. This sets the tone for the second half of the publication that shows an in depth and evaluative case study review applied to the interview methodology.
