Recreation classes for little ones offer many benefits. Early exposure to music helps develop areas of the brain that involve language and reasoning. Students of the arts learn to think creatively and solve problems. Dance helps children mature physically, emotionally, and socially. Sports will build motor skills, teach responsibility and teamwork, and encourage a healthy lifestyle. Kids that are active are more likely to continue being active as they get older. Parks Make Life Better.

Art & Music

Creating a family/office disaster plan Assembling home/office and portable disaster supply kit Sheltering in place Evacuation procedures Preparing for and responding to specific disasters

Since we can only do our best to prevent man-made disasters and terrorism, and since we certainly can’t control “mother-nature,” it’s only a matter of time before a minor or major incident occurs in or around our immediate area. When a disaster happens, will you be prepared to care for yourself, family, friends and neighbors? In all places, home, work or school, it pays to be ready and prepared to deal with all types of natural and man-made disasters. Here on the Peninsula, we are subject to power outages, earthquakes, fires, floods, severe storms, extreme heat, gas leaks, plane crashes, disease and/or flu pandemics, and a host of other possible situations. Training is offered at the Fire Station or at your location, to neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and community groups of 20 or more.

Get Ready! Let us show you how! Schedule a FREE preparedness presentation for your group.
