A normal part of an adolescent’s development is to explore, test limits, and push boundaries You are not alone with feeling uncertainty, concern, and wondering when to intervene and how to support your teenager’s development and experiential growth. Together we will normalize adolescent behavior, examine the neuroscience of a teenager’s brain development, and discuss the impact of social media on the social, emotional, and neurological development of your teenager.
Is laughter the best medicine when it comes to mental health? Probably not but we believe it can help! The Bay Area’s funniest stand-up comedians tell jokes and talk about their life with mental illness. All the jovial environment of a late-night talk show, featuring mental health interviews and more! At the Mental Health Comedy Hour, we’re not OK, and that’s OK!
Hosted by Wonder Dave and Kristee Ono, two comedians who have struggled with mental illness themselves and found both therapy and talking about mental health in their comedy to be beneficial

Embark on a transformative journey of selfdiscovery and release in our unique stresssmashing activity You will self-reflect to identify what is stressing you out or any struggles you’ve been working through. What should I bring to the event?
Teens should bring themselves and an open mind! Everything you need throughout the day will be provided. We recommend leaving anything that may be distracting at home, as this is an opportunity to unplug and reset!
Do I have to stay for the whole event?
Yes, due to demand and to get the best overall experience from the retreat, we require participants to attend the whole event Additionally, for safety purposes, there will be no comeand-go privileges.
What is the Teen Wellness Retreat?
The Teen Wellness Retreat is a oneday event for teens to destress and refresh their mental health and wellbeing through various workshops and self-care activities.
