a) The choice to undertake a curricular collaboration with an emerging but at the same time already nationally titled studio was a strong stimulus to see the work from the point of view of young but well-prepared architects, who involved and empowered me within the their works and design ideas.

1) Created in 1996, ATHENS is made up of 14 technical European universities. Its mission is to facilitate the exchange of students, of professors, of researchers within the network and to encourage integration, cooperation and the creation of innovative projects for the technological development of Europe.

2) The two experiences of workshops held, one during the Bachelor’s degree in Italy, and the other during the Master’s degree in Spain, were opportunities to experiment and deepen themes outside of my study plan. Researching and getting involved with different realities has left me with a new way of approaching projects, enriching myself as a person and as an architect.

3) The competitions promoted by Kaira Looro, have always dealt with important issues in countries in difficulty, such as those in Africa. The EOC ideas was an educational experience that led us to study and understand the needs of peoples and countries never faced during the degree course. The project was born with the aim of creating an emergency center, in the shortest possible time and with resources that are easily available and assembled. The macro building, self-sustainable, with a total size of 500 square meters, is divided in healthcare to organizational spaces in the Sub-Saharan Africa. The project of the children house, instead, touched on the theme of prevention and care of the child, inside a building or a small complex of maximum 250 square meters, in the village of Baghere.
