APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS

The apprenticeship program at SF is sponsored by the Builders Association of North Central Florida. Apprenticeships are available in carpentry, electrical, HVAC/R and plumbing. If you are already working in one of these fields, an apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to learn the technical aspects of your trade in the classroom while applying your skills on the job, and you will earn a guaranteed wage.

During your apprenticeship, your average salary is based on data from the Builders Association of North Central Florida and varies based on how long you have been in your apprenticeship. Currently, apprentices make about $25,000 a year while in the program, but upon completion, the average salary range is $45,000-$55,000.

• Carpentry, two years, $48,260*

• Electrical, four years, $60,040*

• HVAC/R, four years, $48,630*

• Plumbing, four years, $59,880*
