Automotive Service Technology at Santa Fe College is a certificate program that prepares students for entry-level positions in the automotive industry. Courses combine classroom instruction and hands-on training to provide a general working knowledge of the automobile and its operating systems. A fleet of late-model automobiles offers students practical experience with the latest technology in the industry.

Successful completion of this program prepares students to enter the workforce as general line mechanics or as a specialty technician.

The Automotive Service Technology program is “Master Certified” by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) to meet the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards of quality.
