Automotive Service Management Technology at Santa Fe College is an Associate in Applied Science degree program that prepares students for entry-level positions in the automotive industry. Graduates of this program often pursue leadership or management opportunities, which means increased wages at a quicker pace.
In addition to 15 credit hours of general education classes, coursework for the program also includes classroom instruction, hands-on training with late-model vehicles, and several weeks spent immersed in a cooperative work experience with a local dealership or independent repair facility. During this cooperative experience, students receive college credit as well as payment for their work.
The Automotive Service Management Technology program is “Master Certified” by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) to meet the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards of quality.
