Brief
The aim of this live brief was to design a logo and business cards for makeup artist Stevie Osborn. She wanted a vibrant image to be used for the logo which could be reproduced on a variety of materials. She also wanted the image to show a facial feature, preferably lips or eyes.

Development
The client had already made a point of liking a few previous designs that were on my behance, so asked specifically for colour versions of some black and white watercolour textures that were used in another brief. The illustrations of the eye and mouth were kept very simple as with the inclusion of colour, too much detail may have been too much.

Logo/Business cards
Stevie chose the logo based on the colour and the manner in which the colour was reserved to just the inside of the lips. The business cards feature the full colour image on the reverse side, and the logo on the front. This is a design that can be altered and reproduced easily so as to work on multiple platforms.

Website
Although Stevie did not request a website design, she may want one in the future when her portfolio expands, so she could choose to use these designs if she wanted when the time came. The website allows users easy access to the variety of styles she specialises in, and works visually in conjunction with her logo.
