The cover would maintain many of the features of the original covers, such as straplines, logo size and placement. However the cover would attempt to feature illustration and artand a more refined colour scheme.

02 Nette Display

Developed for use in headings, sub-headings and other display areas. Designed on a similar baseline grid to Gill Sans, this face emulates the features of Century Gothic, to create greater synergy between body copy and title.

03 Duotone Neue

Based on Helvetica Neue, this face was designed to be displayed in upper case as the main header typeface for articles. Modern design features allow the typeface to be used in conjunction with digital media.

07 Digital Promotion

08 Printed Sample

To ensure a functional typographic system is designed, printed mock ups were made of the 30+ page A5 magazine. Having a tactile example of the type used allowed further understanding of the effects of features.
