It starts anywhere in the world and spreads out, because it has its own momentum. People with a good feeling for trends are designers, because it’s part of their job to recognise them. Whether you like trends or not, they should not be ignored. Especially for companies trends play a major role. To miss a trend could be disastrous, showed by some big brands which no longer exist. To hit the nerve of time is essential for the business. In this issue we show you the latest trends in interiors and the similarity to fashion. Fashion always makes its way from the runway into the living rooms. Also new is our special ‘FAIBLELOUS 21’, the young interior. hen it's quiet outside and a cooling breeze is blowing, then the autumn has arrived. It is a bit sad, that the summer ended. But now it's time to find some calmness, to make yourself comfortable and stay more at home, cook a delicious pumpkin soup for dinner and enjoy a good red wine. It's time to take care for yourself and those that are closest to you. Fall is the time to let yourself fall, take a deep breath and sleep until lunch, as far as possible. What is also beautiful about this season are the autumn flowers, that you can pick from the garden or buy on a market. They look great in vases on the dining table or on a dresser. Especially the leafless branches are a lovely and beautiful way to welcome the autumne. Because when it has arrived, we all love it !

Tulum is like a world of its own. Here in the southernmost tip of Mexico, everything is a little different. This place on the coast of the Riviera Maya is a recreation area. Here art and kitsch are united. 3 The entrance is covered with local tree trunks. It looks like a secret entrance, because when the door is closed you would not see it. 4 Each room looks different in colors and design, but from the same language. Exclusive arts are hanging on the walls. 5 The concept of this hotel is to mix different elements into one unit. The dining room looks also completly different with a graphic pattern wallcovering.

1 Simple and really relaxed: the floor and the bed were made of one

piece of concrete. Vivid colors add a strong accent to wood and white walls.

2 The rear entrance looks like the front entrance and leads directly

to the beach. Sand on the wooden stairs give the right beach feeling.

3 The hotel beach with white sand is privat and quiet.

Cottages with thatched roofs are ready to enjoy the ocean.

4 The hotel complex is in their natural state. Little trees provide shade. 5 Fancy furniture and art are regular elements in this hotel.
