Past and present movies Today movies aren’t the same as the past movies. In the past, movies were very expensive and they are not a normal DVD we have today. They used movie tapes they were not in color but they were in black and white. In the past all the movies were all very hard to set up. They had to put it into the old projector and it will hopefully work. They look like the picture 3

in the past there was many actors and actresses. Like Robin Williams he was really funny and his voice is so hilarious. He made thousands of movies before he died of drugs that he took. He also acts as girls
above but before it was a DVD player. If you don’t take care of your tape the right way and you make a little tear you can’t play it any more. These tapes are very delicate even a little tear and it doesn’t play. But today we have DVD players to use, even DVDs to put inside and it makes it much easier to use. We are a very lucky generation to have all these easy but expensive gadgets.

Popular movies Today our movies are full with comedy, laughter, action, animation, adventures, sport, drama, fantasy, romance, musical, mysteries, sci-fi and family fun. I love to watch movies after school all the time but my family has a rule so. There are a few tens of movies in the world that are still popular. One of them is How to train a dragon 2. Some people didn’t see it yet though but it’s still a big hit. Well The Simpsons is yet a very old show but it’s like the funniest show on the planet. There are also a few others, like Maleficent, Maleficent is a fairy tale Angelina Jolie designed in her mind. It is a story you should not believe

How movies are made Movies are a big hit for entertainment, everyone wonders how did they make movies. Movies take a long time to come out cause it’s a lot of hard work. Movies are made by real life people or maybe cartoon charters the artist has to draw the charter. It’s
very hard to act cause, it’s hard not to laugh at someone. Also if a person does it wrong you have to do that part over again.

In cartoons they have to have a voice that can express the charters feelings. You have to get the part from the boss witch is really hard.

Musical movies Musical movies are just a different type of movie. They are called musical movies cause they have musicals in it and it’s a movie. Musicals in the past were very popular at that time. They are also popular today. When you are acting in a musical it takes a lot of practice and you need to be able to do lots of stunts too.

About the author Hi, my name is Jolene Tay and I’m from Singapore but I came to Shanghai cause of my Dad. I wrote about movies because as myself I love to watch movies as much as anything else. I have a brother, me, my mom and my dad my older brother witch keeps on disturbing me and only stops if he’s on his computer or watching a movie with me. My mom is always the nice one she helps me and very kind too. My dad is very fun but has lots of rules.
