Travel & Housing Air Transportation. Air transportation to and from Bolivia is the responsibility of the student. SBCC will share the program directors travel details once they are confirmed so students can try to get on the same flight. Please note that flights to Bolivia usually have a connecting flight in Panama. It is the responsibility of the student to arrive at the destination airport on December 29th, 2018. Host families will be picking up students from the airport. Students must submit their confirmed flight information to the SBCC Study Abroad office no later than November 30, 2018. All participants are responsible for checking in at the designated arrival point and time on the scheduled date of arrival. Housing Arrangements. Exact housing placements will be provided to participants upon arrival. Housing will be with host families in single rooms. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Winner of the Francisco de Villalón-International Innovation in Teaching Award (Valladolid, Spain), Professor Rodríguez is a specialist in the use of technology in foreign-language teaching and online instruction. Dr. Rodríguez has directed several SBCC summer and semester programs in Spain, Mexico, Italy, and most recently Cuba. He completed his B.A. at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain, his M.A. at San Francisco State University, and his Ph.D. at the University of California at Davis.

Travel & Housing Air Transportation. Air transportation to and from Bolivia is the responsibility of the student. SBCC will share the program directors travel details once they are confirmed so students can try to get on the same flight. Please note that flights to Bolivia usually have a connecting flight in Panama. It is the responsibility of the student to arrive at the destination airport on December 29th, 2018. Host families will be picking up students from the airport. Students must submit their confirmed flight information to the SBCC Study Abroad office no later than November 30, 2018. All participants are responsible for checking in at the designated arrival point and time on the scheduled date of arrival. Housing Arrangements. Exact housing placements will be provided to participants upon arrival. Housing will be with host families in single rooms. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.
Information Meetings Information meetings for the program will be held on the SBCC Campus at the Luria Library Faculty Meeting Room on the West Campus. Attendance is not mandatory for participation in the program Parents and students are welcome to attend. Meetings are subject to change. Refunds/Cancellation Cancellation must be made in writing to the SBCC Study Abroad office at nwalther@pipeline.sbcc.edu, and is effective the date of the receipt. Date of Cancellation Refund On or before October 26, All fees paid minus 2018 $250 On or before November 30, All fees paid minus 2018 $500 On or after December 1, No refund, total 2018 program fee due *Before the start date of the program, should the U.S. State Department issue a “Travel Warning” that warns American citizens against all non-essential travel to Bolivia, SBCC will cancel its program. SBCC will refund program fees minus any non-refundable deposits to all participants on that program in case of a cancellation due to a travel warning.
