I will pray and not worry
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5
Sometimes you might not trust God because you do not know Him well enough. You don’t understand what He wants or His power to do it. The disciples learned again and again that trusting the Lord was worth it. One time they had been fishing all night without catching anything (Luke 5:1-11). But when Jesus said to put out the nets again, they did, and boy oh boy did they catch lots of fish. By trusting Jesus, the disciples went from having no fish to having plenty of fish. But more importantly, by trusting Jesus, they went from not understanding Jesus or His power to understanding that Jesus was more important than catching fish could ever be. Their new mission was to follow Jesus and become “fishers of men.”
You can get to know God better by reading the Bible. What else can you do to get to know Him?
