Today, I will do good

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

This is a tough one to understand, but it’s really important. How can God’s power be stronger in our weakness? We just learned that fear makes us weak and weakness is bad. Why is it now good?

When we get stronger and start relying on ourselves and our own skills, we forget God. We think that we are strong enough to fix everything and that we no longer need God. That is a mistake. When we fail, and we will fail, we blame ourselves because we were not strong enough.

In today’s verse, Paul is explaining the teachings of Jesus.

Grace means that you don’t need to feel inadequate. You’re not perfect, and you never will be in this life. God’s grace is sufficient for every moment of every day.

God wants you to rest in His grace today. You need to trust Him—His grace is all you need for today.

Thank God for His grace and ask Him to forgive you for when you forget Him: Dear Father, ____________________ _________________________ _________________________ _________________________ _________________________
