BIBLE
WHEN GOD MADE IT ALL Genesis 1-2
In the beginning, God created everything. He made the blue skies and the wavy seas. He made tall trees and tiny flowers. He made strong elephants and fluttering butterflies, and then He made Adam and Eve.

THE DAY EVERYTHING CHANGED Genesis 3
At first, everything was good. Adam and Eve loved God, and God loved them. But Adam and Eve wanted to do things their own way instead of God’s way. They sinned against God. God still loved them, but He had to send them away.
5
A FRESH BEGINNING Genesis 6-9
Years later, God was sad because people everywhere were evil. “I’ll send a flood to wash away the evil in the world,” God said. “Noah is a good man; I’ll start over with him!” God protected Noah’s family and the animals inside the ark.
6
GOD’S PROMISE TO ABRAHAM Genesis 12:1-3; 15
God chose a man named Abraham to be His special friend. “I’ll give you a big family, Abraham,” God said. “You’ll have more grandkids and great-grandkids than you can count!” “How, God?” Abraham asked. “I’m already old and don’t have any children.”
7
THE START OF ABRAHAM’S FAMILY Genesis 21:1-7
God kept His promise to Abraham. One year later, Abraham and his wife Sarah had a son. They called him Isaac. Isaac was the first person in the great big family God had promised Abraham.
8
JOSEPH’S BROTHERS SELL HIM Genesis 37
Isaac’s son was Jacob, and Jacob had twelve sons. Of all his sons, Jacob loved Joseph most. Joseph’s brothers were very jealous of him. One day, when they were alone with Joseph, they sold him as a slave. The slave traders sold Joseph in Egypt.
9
JOSEPH FORGIVES HIS BROTHERS Genesis 45
God was with Joseph, so he became very important in Egypt. For many years, no food would grow, but Joseph had stored up extra. Joseph’s brothers came to buy food. Joseph was so happy to see them! He forgave them for what they had done.
