CREATION Genesis 1:1-2:3

2
The beginning
In the beginning God made light. Then He created the earth where we live.
3
4
God fills the earth
God made the blue water and green land. He filled the land with mountains and valleys, forests, rivers and fields. He made colorful flowers and tall trees.
5
6
God makes stars and planets
God filled the sky with shining lights. The sun gives us light every day and keeps us warm. The moon and the stars give light at night.
7
8
God makes animals
Now God wanted to make animals - animals that swim, animals that run and jump. God even made animals that climb trees, and animals that fly high in the air! They all 9 loved the earth God made.
God makes people
10
Then God made the most amazing creation of all. He made people like you and me. God made a man and a woman. He called them Adam and Eve. They were God’s friends.
11
12
God is happy
God looked at everything He had made: earth and sky, land and ocean, animals and people. He saw it was very good. God was happy with what He had made.
13
Creation in the Bible
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They

will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so. Genesis 1:26-30

THE STORY OF
NOAH'S ARK Genesis 5:1-9:29
17
Bad people
One day, a long time ago, God looked at the earth and saw people everywhere doing very bad things. God was sad. He decided to get rid of everything and make it all new again.
18
19
Noah builds a boat
God decided to flood the whole earth with water. He went and told His friend Noah to build a big boat, so he could be safe. He told Noah to put animals on the boat, so they could be safe, too.
20
21
Rain
When it started to rain, Noah and the animals were safe on the big boat. It rained and rained and rained.
22
Soon, the trees were covered with water. Then, the water covered the mountains! Would it ever stop?
23
24
Inside the boat
In the meantime, Noah and his family were busy. The animals needed food and care. The rain finally stopped, but the whole earth was flooded with water! 25
The dove brings back a leaf
Noah and the animals waited and waited. Then Noah sent out a dove, to see if it would find dry land. It did!
26
It brought back a green leaf to show Noah. Noah and the animals were very happy!
27
28
God’s rainbow
Noah and the animals got off the boat. Noah thanked God for taking care of them. God put a beautiful rainbow in the sky and promised never to destroy the earth again.
29
Noah’s Ark in the Bible
The LORD then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.” And Noah did all that the LORD commanded him. Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth. And Noah and his sons and

his wife and his sons’ wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood. Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground, male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah. And after the seven days the floodwaters came on the earth. Genesis 7:1-10
