Scanvogn have come up with a great concept when requiring Crib/Office facilities in remote areas, or in areas where there are a lack of services, Scanvogn’s 6.6m Remote Crib/Office can be powered by plug and play, but comes with an inbuilt genset which allows this unit to be situated in some of the most remote locations. Scanvogn understands that in today’s economy it is important to keep costs to a minimum. The 4.2m Lunchbox with a JET system was designed with this in mind. The unit comes fitted with a potable water tank and a waste water tank. The JET system uses 95% less water than a conventional toilet, enabling the 4.2m unit to be self sufficient for long periods of time, which will reduce the amount of visits required from service vehicles in maintaining water and waste levels. MINING INDUSTRY When a mine is in its operational phase, most site facilities are already in place; however as the mine expands, workers will require site facilities closer to the actual workplace. They will need access to facilities such as First Aid, Offices, Toilets, Bathrooms, and Meeting / Lunch Rooms. By utilizing Scanvogn’s mobile systems this all can be achieved. One of the big benefits with Scanvogn units is the fact that all of our units weigh less than 3.5 tonne allowing companies to use their site vehicles to tow the units into position and to move them easily when required.

The units can also be fitted with a generator or solar panels, tanks for fresh and wastewater, enabling you to be 100% self-sufficient.

Our models are equipped with a reinforced chassis designed especially for Scanvogn and for the Australian market.

They have larger wheels and the system is now a field proven concept.

ONSHORE PIPE LAYING The mobility provides flexibility and cost savings when the work site is moving or expanding. For onshore pipe laying where the site facilities need to be moved as the pipeline progresses, Scanvogn can provide a complete minicamp for 4-64 workers.

The camp can be constructed according to the client’s requirements by combining our standard models and can easily be expanded when required.

If the client has more than one camp, the mobility of each unit enables the company to put together custom camp solutions for each project.

Units with 2-3 rooms can be combined with a kitchen and office to make the units very efficient. For larger camps Scanvogn recommends to keep all sanitary systems in one unit with one option being a unit with 5 toilets and 3 urinals a partition wall can be supplied to separate the females toilets from the males. This will help lower the cost of the camp by keeping the accommodation units separate and allowing only one area for waste to be collected.

For exploration or other field work we can supply Crib units. These units are self-sufficient but can also be used as plug&play. We provide either solar systems or generators, and with our water saving sanitary tank systems you can bring all your domestic comforts to the outback.

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY The construction industry is where Scanvogn started nearly 30 years ago, thus we are highly experienced in manufacturing mobile construction site facilities. An accommodation trailer is not just an accommodation trailer anymore. The authorities and unions have specific legislative requirements for site facilities and the employees deserve to be treated well. Some call it a trailer; we call it welfare on wheels.

All units are below 3.500kg and come with an overrun brake system only requiring a 50mm ball coupling at your vehicle.

HIGH CAPACITY VACUUM SYSTEMS Scanvogn has developed a complete vacuum system for large events. The system consists of a 7.3m long light weight trailer with up to 16 toilets in each unit.

This means, that one light weight unit holds a capacity of 700 visits/hr.! With JETS vacuum system, which uses down to 0.4L of water pr. flush, water consumption is reduced by up to 95%.

Everything we have designed for the event industry has slip resistant durable fibreglass floors, abrasive wear is reduced.

The floors are designed with a slope from the centre which meanings water will flow towards the drains when the units are being cleaned and in operation. At large events we have examples of 40 units installed, servicing an average of 2800 guests/hr with clean sanitary facilities.
