The book has an aesthetically pleasing and edgy quality, it mixes modernistic typesetting and graphic elements. I did some unconventionally experimental work. I combined some of my hand collage work, and some digital collage work with other artists' artworks. Some pictures are rough and raw. I include pixels in some images, and others I include even more pixels.I believe these images capture human emotion. The famous Pop Art artist Robert Rauschenberg's work "Erased de Kooning Drawing" inspired me. Although it is an "erased" piece of artwork, it is still an exceptional artwork. In my book, I used some pictures that people may think is not related to the context of the book, but the images are still related somehow. The gap between the context needs to be filled by the viewer. These theories influenced me. I decided to abandon the conventiond way which is called "see say." I want to make viewers curious, and let those viewers fill the gap between words and photos in the book.
