For the purpose of conveying the brand image of my company with my logo, I sketched a lot of options, including three typographic solutions and three iconographic solutions. Since I already had in mind what I wanted my aesthetic to be like, I needed my logo to be something simple and versatile for all my upcoming deliverables.

FINAL LOGO Simplify visual elements
With the final logo almost done, I wanted to make sure the logo was the simplest combination of typography. I cut the vertical lines from two letter “E”, and made three lines to represent two letter “E”. I had designed an icon in the shop of infinity, but I decided to remove it and just leave the text GreenGenus. A simplified logo solved my memorable problem.

The posters were a challenge for me because this was the start of my visual language through photography and typography. My goal was to create an eye-catching call out and then have supporting text to inform the viewer about my brand. The first attempt at the posters used photos to present the different parts of house appliances and energy systems for the viewer’s individual reflection about their home energy system.

DELIVERABLE 1: EVENT The event shows two separate enclosed spaces. One has a fireplace, and the other has a television. The room with the fireplace has simulated wood smoke. The other room is playing a yule log video. These two rooms both have the same furniture setting, the same video of GreenGenus is playing and handouts are placed hanging near the television. Those spaces are aimed to make people experience the wood smoke and regular air at the home directly. This event shows the problem that air pollution cause by wood smoke due to the smoke that harms people’s health.
