Located in the Croatian port city of Rijeka, MKM Yachts Ltd., a division of Scenic Group, is devoted to the construction of unique luxury polar cruise ships and yachts. Having previously built Scenic Eclipse, The World’s First Discovery Yachts™, custom designed for excursions to both the north and south poles, building work is now under way on her sister ship, Scenic Eclipse II.

From unique vision to inventive reality –building Scenic Eclipse II

As the prime contractor for all Scenic Group’s new-build ship projects, MKM’s award-winning team provides a whole range of services in shipbuilding, spanning from project management and project planning to production and commissioning.

After a keel was laid for it in May 2021, Scenic Eclipse II was launched in Rijeka’s 3 Maj Shipyard and is the newest recruit to MKM’s fleet of world leading cruise ships. This important event for Croatian shipbuilding was attended by Scenic Chairman and Founder, Glen Moroney, the Croatian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Davor Filipovic and other distinguished guests and business partners.
