Joe (he/him) Teen Manager How long have you been working at the Schaumburg Library? In the teen department? I have been working at Schaumburg Library in the Teen Department for 5 ½ years. What is your favorite book and/ or game to recommend? My favorite book to recommend is A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin. This book is by far my first choice for best young adult fantasy of all time ever. Harry who? My favorite game to recommend is by far Uno Flip – Oh. My. Goodness. If you love Uno, this is a fantastic update to the classic. It’s also available to play in the teen space at the Library!
What is a service within the Library that you want more teens to know about? Kanopy! It’s a video streaming service that has an incredible selection of indie films, documentaries and fringe content. You can stream documentaries, classic movies and indie films. You are allowed up to 10 video plays per month, and you can download the Kanopy app to access from any of your devices.
Stop by the Library’s Teen space to say hello to any of our teen staff members. We hope to see you soon!
