Summer Reading Experience

Three cheers for summer reading! High-quality summer programs foster creativity, promote reading skills, and help to prevent the summer slide. And, of course, reading in the summer often provides additional opportunities to read for enjoyment and discover new favorites. We invite everyone to participate in the Summer Reading Experience at the Schertz Public Library. Registration begins Saturday, May 27. This summer you can read, make, and explore to earn prizes. Read anything you want, from books to magazines to audiobooks. You can read library books, your own personal books, or any combination. Once you have completed the reading experience log, bring it to the library and pick up your summer reading experience t-shirt (while supplies last). We are planning a calendar full of programs, events, and activities that are enjoyable for all ages. Check out our online calendar to see what we have going on.
